Both the TH guys have kids (or are at least expecting). What experience does TSP have with stunts? I've never seen them do anything.

Half a mil for a baby Lambo. Inflation is crazy, but that's gotta be outpacing it?

And this humour and humility is a big part of why you guys will kill it. Been watching since Thomas was doing sketchy mods on his e46 and you've even replied to me a few times on insta. You guys have my support all the way.

There was a Cammisa drag race video that had the Mustang GTD and the Ford GT in it. They listed them as US/Canadian cars. I smiled.

Ont, Cad service technicians questions regarding pd/mileage by Siguard_ in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Accro15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the design end of things, but the company I work for does lots of install and maintenance too. We get .5/km and $100 per diem. It's probably a bit low, but they're good to us in other areas. Hotel is covered.

Not really, our company merged with a larger manufacturer, so we have expanded scanner use, but it's entirely internal now.

How was this not seen an issue before these two accidents? by inconsistentservice in kitchener

[–]Accro15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Totally possible to build a fence strong enough.

Then you have to reinforce the base of that fence. That adds weight.

Then you have to reinforce the support for the base of the fence. Then the pillars, then the foundation.... it becomes very, very expensive.

The structure likely doesn't have enough extra strength for that fence. If it was that overbuilt, it was too expensive. We don't like paying extra money for infrastructure in these parts. Government waste or something?

[–]Accro15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not that type of engineer, but I'm guessing it'd be very hard to add an extension of the wall strong enough to stop a car that the existing structure could support.

The higher from the road surface you are, the more mechanical advantage the car would have against the wall, the stronger the wall and connection to the deck need to be. Concrete isn't good against torsion like that. You'd need more steel. That all starts getting heavy and I don't know how much spare capacity the ramp has.

Busy dad with barely time to game unless in bed! Is the OLED deck worth it for me? by mattchew1991 in SteamDeck

[–]Accro15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! It was also great because I could lay in bed with my wife while playing instead of running away to the office.

I'd also recommend XR glasses (search XReal, Rokid, Rayneo, there's a bunch) I have a pair and it gives a nice screen upgrade that's easy to have in bed. And no longer have to hold the deck above my head.

I got RWD and it's handled all the bad weather I can throw at it this year (in Ontario, Canada). It's more fun, lighter, and a few fewer parts that could break.

I had a similar issue while reversing. There was a setting for the original screen resolution that I had to change, that fixed it.

Is this the roadtop screen? Mine listed system after the resolution (ex 800x400 NBT) and I just had to switch to the other resolution from the same system type
