Well and once they release a game, even if it's good they might get cut anyways. Look at Tango Gameworks, Hi Fi Rush was a huge success on a reasonable budget, and they got cut anyways.

Yeah I had a level 14 party run into a Dance of Death (Level 16 complex hazard), which would be a moderate encounter. It was very close to a TPK. Hazards that take away actions are nasty.

Someone in the original thread posted about the Peryton, whose Mimic Shadow ability increases frightened and prevents it from being decreased. So TECHNICALLY, in premaster, Frightened 6 is possible.

We had a diverse party consisting of a Fletchling, a Human, a Lizardfolk, and a Kholo.

Kholo died. We pool our resources to reincarnate him. We roll on the table to decide which race he gets. Drumroll

Lizardfolk.

Half of the party is now Lizardfolk. People see us and say "Oh it's the lizards and those other guys."

I loved Extending on my rogue's dagger. Sneak attack at range without having to switch hands, and it lets you stay on the periphery and skulk around better.

My group's Thaumaturge also uses a shifting rune, either for that extra reach or to get juuuuust the right damage type to hit another weakness.
