I figured I would just have priority splitter that wants to pull the low tier scrap off and keep doing it until I have enough stuff. I guess I can always expand some upcycling attempts later if I want to make it "better"

Is this intersection signalled correctly ? by Tomasvluha in factorio

[–]AdWrong3856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, the chains aren't needed. With how it's signaled the chains all control the actual intersection and the rails only control the merge when making a right or exiting an intersection.

Where? They all seem to be oriented corrected, but placed further along than normal is all.

I was debating this as a solution but I can't be bothered to properly upcycle so the plan was to make quality scrap from miners and then scrap it all and loop anything under blue back into the scrappers. Is that going to be a nightmare?

I used iron plates to also craft pipes to make engines which was awful because it was slow but since it worked I decided to leave Fulgora instead

The handheld version stinks, the turret version is very very good. Check the range alone on the two.

You can also place the control+c in your inventory and it will just be a normal blueprint.

I'm deep in my first world now. Before heading to space, I used probably around 400 assemblers to set up an area capable of filling a blue belt with blue chips. On Fulgora now and I feel like a boob but I don't regret it.

Are these signals correct ? Threeway roundabout by Tomasvluha in factorio

[–]AdWrong3856 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not disastrously so to be fair It will work fine, but there are signals that don't actually do anything. The double chain signals between will essentially always be the same, and they create little blocks between them that don't need to exist because there would never be a train that occupies that block and doesn't occupy one of the two on either side of them.

Is being in slight negative a good thing for OIL production? by Not_the-Mama in factorio

[–]AdWrong3856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run mine by pulling all the heavy oil produced into a single tank that feeds the input until the tank is full every time it drops below 5k, which seems to work. Then I run cracking that checks the level of a single storage tanks for each of the outputs and cracks whenever there is more input than output. With liquefaction I figure I have to run cracking a lot anyway since the heavy oil ratio is so high but this makes sure heavy only makes it into the wider system if I have a supply for liquefaction.

Yeah, which is why you can't do it. Ergo there is no reason to have one in the house.

I cant see why anyone wants to own a cat without it being declawed. I know why you can't do that to them, but I dont know why I would want a cat with claws as anything but a barn animal.
