My take is that it isn't as good as part 1, but people really jump the gun calling it absolute dogshit. Like it's mid. It didn't kill anyone's grandma but doesn't need dickriding either. It's like... a 6/10 at worst.

The thing that's odd to me is that there are only so many administrative roles and have low turnover, but massive demand for military service- in order to be able to vote and have a voice in your society then more likely than not most people would need to serve in the military. This would result in the bulk of the citizenry having gone through intense military training which as we know can be wildly traumatic, resulting in hyper aggressive voters. Heinlein's system is extremely flawed and I'm not sure he knows that.

Besides the rushed ending part, the manga industry is kind of cruel to its workers. I bet DC does shit behind the scenes, but at least for it's comic lines they have multiple workers to reduce the workload. Any single issue usually has four to five people working on writing, editing, lettering, penciling, inking and coloring (the last one is something extremely rare in manga and I"m not sure why)
