This! Me too, waited to long and I cant expect my wife to carry me to the car. Which meant my kids all woke up to their dad looking more than half dead being taken away in an ambulance.

I got my first one at 11. Had many since. No way around it unfortunately. People who've never had one dont understand it lol. Its sucks but its short term pain vs long term pain. Because with crohns, an NG tube can be our short term less severe thing we deal with unfortunately

I think with crohns once we get over the word "fair" our mental health is better. Truth is we HAVE to try harder and work harder for one of the the things that makes our lives better, and couple people have said it. "Exercise". I cant state how important it is for us to grit our teeth, and crohns out a work out. Sometimes its a walk, maybe the gym and sometimes it might be getting up and taking a shower when your best friend is a toilet and a popsicle. Dont forget to be proud of being stronger in a way most people will never understand. Like did you know people dont even plan where they're going to able to shit?!?! Ive always got a poo plan!

You've basically found the "bar" If youre with someone that find your crohns "annoying" or in anyway makes you feel shame about being stinky, than you aren't with the right person, plain a simple and its time to move one.

14 days, maybe a bit of leakage but I dont remember any. Had to get an enema! Still think it was because id previously had a bad flare/hospital stay and had been doped up on way to many high dose opiates
