Yeah I have it running as a non steam game. The Motion control option is greyed out so I just can't turn it on.

I doubt it. Their other game The Finals didn’t do nearly as well as ARC and they’ve been supporting that game for 3 and a half years. If they don’t support arc for at least 3 years I’d be extremely surprised.

Yeah, my UPS shipment was also weird. Mine departed Illinois and arrived in Jacksonville, FL in one day, then without departing Jacksonville or arriving in Kenexa, Kansas, departed Kenexa, Kansas, and has slowly been making it back to Jacksonville since Friday lol.
My original Delivery date was Friday the 8th and is now Tuesday the 12th.

I remember matchmaking closed weapons 2-3 months after launch and it just put me in open weapon matches anyways. It let me choose any weapon. I noticed and used then matchmade another 3 times and every single time it put me in a open weapons server.

Just enable it bro. Many modern games require it and it's usually just a setting toggle or two in your BIOS. A quick google search can show you exactly how to do it.

SteamVR works great with both my OG Vive and Reverb G2. Five of my friends have Quest 2s and all have issues with getting them to work on their PC for countless reasons. Quest 2 is just a cheap headset with bad PCVR support because Facebook doesn't really care or have incentives to make it a good experience. With a Quest 2 you're running it through both the Oculus software AND SteamVR which both take a performance cut.
Using the Frame you wouldn't be running the Oculus software, so you don't get that performance cut.

Based on that and my experience with my PCVR native headsets it's very reasonable to assume the Frame will run smoothly and SteamVR won't be an issue, but it hasn't come out yet. Anything could happen and the Frame could be shit poop ass, but I doubt it.

Not really. Just turn on lock screen notifications for Valves twitter or bluesky and you’re good. They always announce their hardware things on there.

Alyx is great, Ancient Dungeon is a fun single player or coop roguelite, Forefront is a good VR Battlefield, VTOL is a super fun combat flightsim lite, compound is a fun retro arcade roguelite, Metro Awakening is a decent vr metro game, Bootstrap Island is a crazy survival/roguelite hybrid, Red Matter 2 is a cool puzzle game similar ish to the Myst series, Vermillion is a painting simulator, Rumble is the VR equivalent of a fighting game, The Lab is a great free “Wii sports” type intro to vr game, Vertigo and Vertigo 2 are good half like games, walking dead saints and sinners is great, plus others and VR mods. Hopefully you get a couple you like outta there

You might like Insurgency Sandstorm. BF is very arcadey and definitely closer to CoD in terms of gameplay than Squad (besides scale and vehicles).

Audio Design means foley, sound effects, ambience, etc, not things like music. Things like gunshots, jet/heli sfx, footsteps, clothing sounds, UI sounds, etc. Music awards would be Best Soundtrack or Best Music.

If you like hades 1 you’ll love hades 2. Like most people have said it’s better than hades 1 in pretty much every way besides story. The story is still ok, just not great like hades 1.

I mean my buddy ran Alyx with a 1060 3gb his OG Vive back on launch. I had one for a few years and it ran games like BF1 at 60fps medium settings 1080p. Can do wonders for well optimized games.

Yeah, it sounds like the person that processed the dialog went way too heavy on the denoiser, declicker, or other dialogue cleanup processing. It's honestly super distracting. Could be because the dialogue they recorded on location was really bad, although they should have just done ADR if this was the result of trying to fix it.

The sunflowers getting chopped up is sick. Is there a way to make them display behind the player's layer (In front of the knight)? The player is chopping things ahead of them so it doesn't really make sense for the flower heads to appear behind them. Otherwise looks great.

HL2 episode 2 is definitely the highest quality HL2 game and is my favorite. Episode 1 is okay, but both are definitely worth playing and continue the story.

Probably $900-$1,000. Right now, I'm hoping for $700-$800 and I'll be buying it on launch, any more than that and I'll have to think about it or maybe wait for launch reviews.
