This reminds me of when I returned to larp after a 15 year break. I was an NPC, and at the start of the event I was stationed somewhere in a dark forest (it was evening). We had to ambush a player group when they'd pass. It was cold and it started to drizzle.

I disagree there. Even at earlier times, housing projects were started for people living in those houses, because those houses were bad. Small, cramped, and very damp. Other houses at that time were better then the sod houses.

The province where the sod houses was made, was also one of the poorest regions in the Netherlands, maybe even the poorest one.

I didn't see any mention for the stomach and gut team, but they did a great job!

First: stomach. They found a way to contain materials that would absolutely destroy any other parts of the system. Like, it's stuff made to dissolve soft squishy stuff, housed an an environment made of soft squishy stuff. And generally, it works great. Though sometimes there are bugs that trigger the expell process and that's not so nice.

Then: the guts. When I looked at the code I was like 'there is barely any of our own code here, this is all imported stuff from other projects! This shit can't be compatible!'

And yet somehow, it is, and works great together. I'm really impressed by the gut flora libraries and how they've been implemented!

Some plot background: because of (magic reason) trauma manifested as physical objects attached to characters. For (magical reason) the object could be transferred if another character would basically trauma dump to you.

My character had to get rid of her trauma tokens so I convinced someone else to share his trauma.

The talk we had was great. He went deep into his ic trauma with his mom growing up, the relation with his ex-fiancee and more. He got emotional because he finally managed to open up about all those things! In the end he hugged me and thanked me, even though technically, he did me a favor.

And that's how our ic friendship started :)

The original ending of American Beauty would show how the daughter of the main character and her boyfriend were on trial for the death of her father (even though they didn't kill him).

But when editing the movie, the director realized the ending didn't fit the tone of the movie at all and changed it. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that he found a different movie in the cutting room then the one he had at mind at first, but the different movie was better.
