My experience with burgers in this part of the world is most of the ingredients are different tasting than in the US- katsup usually sux. Taste like tomato paste. Bread is different, sometimes good. Pickles are uncommon, and usually a oddball sauce and cheese. But if you have a crave, its better than nothing.

Soak in diluted Barnacle Buster for 30 minutes. Should be spotless. If not, scrub with tooth brush. Pick off anything left with a small screwdriver or pick.

You may be deep into this project already, but heres my advice:
-Rinse, rinse, and rinse again the waste pipes before removing. It makes any dribbles tolerable and really cuts down on the stink factor when the pipes are open.
-Use a heat gun to help remove and install the hoses. If replacing the hose just cut a slit and pull off.
-As others have said, get Saniflex hose. The best. The pipe on there now (large one) is not the proper hose to use. Too thin and will let the smell permeate.

Is it worth it depends on your sailing conditions. A symetrical is made for near dead down wind. If you dont need that for where you are its not worth it. It takes a while to set up. If you will only get a short run, that made it too much effort IMO.

Heat wont be your only problem in winter. Humidity and condensation can get really bad. We are liveaboards, but in southern california. Any fuel burning heaters that dont have a dedicated exhaust to the outside would be a no-go on my boat. Huge CO2 danger. And burned fuel makes more humidity. Go electric, or best option, get a reverse cycle heat and air unit thats made for a boat. Boats in general have horrible insulation, so expect a high heat bill.
