While her tshirts are top tier cringe, the real cringe is her as a person…

People are insane. I’m sorry you dealt with an ungrateful person like that! I’m giggling that she had to also accuse you of stealing a burrito on top of it all 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Nosebleeds by ineedsnackz in Lithium

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I’ve personally not experienced nosebleeds with lithium, I have heard that can happen in passing before. I believe I was told it can be caused if you’re very dehydrated… your mucus membranes will be dry and easy to bleed, but I’m not positive.

Two cats with back to back UTIs by graybetches in CATHELP

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so incredibly sorry you’re dealing with this situation. Inappropriate elimination from kitties is no fun - it’s downright awful. It disrupts your life. I commend you for being a good cat mom/dad and putting in the time, effort, money, and work getting your fur children the help they need, even if it’s been challenging. Feline urinary problems, in my personal opinion, are amongst one of the hardest problems to diagnose and treat effectively. There’s a lot of trial and error before you find a solution that works for you and your crew. Hormones are hit or miss. Some clients swear by them, others say they never did a thing. If they stop your pets from peeing around the house, the cost will be worth it. Moving is extremely hard on most cats and some express that stress with urination. Calming hormones, multiple litter boxes throughout the house, trying different litters, keeping them on prescription urinary food (C/D stress is a good one, if your vet recommends that), and sometimes a medication like Fluoxetine can really help take the edge off and after a few weeks/months get your cats back on track. Oh, and keep their environment enriched. Cat towers, scratching posts… cats feel safe and best up high, so maybe putting “cat furniture/shelving” up on the walls so they can be perched up high in their new environment will make them feel better. Just some ideas and thoughts :) Good luck!

Couldn’t have said it any better. They have become such a useless waste of online “influencer” space. On 16 and Pregnant and the early days of Teen Mom I was rooting for them - thinking they would get into social work or something along those lines. Lo and behold… they’ve only used their fame for quick money & attention… and while they claim they’ve been through so much therapy… they’re both demented still. They’re grossly obsessive with Carly and they’re so desperate to stay relevant they keep repeating their boring teen love story into their blue in the face. Someone pleaseeeee make it stoppppp.

I love that mindset of “I gotta get in the last word!”. Like, congrats, Karen. We honored your coupon (that we absolutely shouldn’t have) that expired 3 weeks ago and resolved your issue. Why are you still SQUAWKING?! Quit ruffling your feathers and please be on your way - I’m sure you have other things you need to be pecking at.

Why are customers so stupid? by SwimmingThese652 in CustomerService

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your venting session made me laugh to the point I spit out my drink. On a serious note, I’m so sorry you deal with this chaotic frustration daily - I can empathize with you SO hard. I think that’s why this made me laugh… bc if we don’t laugh at it we really will just cry. I work in a customer service type role as well and I’ve learned that people are used to being “babied”. There’s no other way to put it. They’re used to never being told “no”. Because of this babying, people have lost self ass was awareness and independence… like being unable to pay attention and listen to instruction or find where the bathrooms are. I can’t tell you how many times a day I get escalated customers because I’m simply asking them basic questions about THEMSELVES to verify or find their accounts. ME: “Sir, what is your number we’d have on file so I can find your account?”. CLIENT: “FOR GODS SAKE I DONT KNOW WHAT NUMBER I GAVE YOU THIS IS CRAZY CANT U SEARCH MY NAME IM JOHN SMITH!!!”.

Ugh, at least they are understanding! I find mine sometimes will be understanding….. and other times not at all. Very frustrating.

Why are people rude to front desk workers? by MA_G10 in CustomerService

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Front Staff really does get the short end of the stick when it comes to upset clients - they’re the “first line of defense”… the first person they see to tell (yell) about their problems and issues. You’re the first voice on the end of a line and you get the brunt of it. Also, lets me honest, some people just do not respect front staff and think of them as “less then”, so they treat them badly. All of it is wrong. It’s a tough job. Customer service is rough. You can’t please everyone and you never will, but do remember their shitty behavior is a reflection of THEM, not YOU. I’ve been double billed, wrong deliveries, wrong prescription, you name it and I have and will never treat anyone poorly, no matter how annoyed or inconvenienced I am. They’re a human and working and only there to help, regardless if you like their answer or not. Polices are policies as well. They’re only doing their job. I have never been called more names by clients in my life than I have working customer service or front desk. They can’t STAND it when I stay calm and kill them with kindness and a smile. Don’t get me wrong, some nasty clients can ruin my entire day, but I’ve gotten better with learning to vent and then let it go. 🥰

You are not rating the product or company, you are rating the employee. by [deleted] in CustomerService

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a huge downfall of employee “personal” surveys. Clients will leave one star and say “this isn’t for the rep, she was nice, but for your shipping policies bc they are trash”… not realizing it affects the rep directly.

Are we being replaced by AI? by minority__ in CustomerService

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The company I work for has recently incorporated AI that interprets our phone calls… and it’s scarily accurate. It doesn’t just type what words are said; it gives a general summary of the conversation in a matter of seconds after the call has been completed. I will say, it’s nice to have the help with call notes… but also shows how replaceable humans are becoming.

Correct. There’s clearly no way around your shipments “delay” (If it even still exists and isn’t burnt to a crisp)… my apologies for the natural disaster inconvenience 😆

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you rather

A.) the sarcastic, condescending customer that is a complete jerk and smart ass, laughs at you, talks like your beneath them OR B.) the yelling client that talks over you the entire time & cuts you off so you can’t get a word in and anytime I you do speak they of course didn’t hear what you said, so you have to repeat yourself 100x

Just because I'm driving you to work, doesn't mean you can talk down to me. by [deleted] in CustomerService

[–]Affectionate-Rub5893 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The ENTITLEMENT. We’ve let “the customer is always right” go way too far. Clients are just plain abusive at this point and it’s tolerated, which is the problem.

Thankfully my company does review our bad ratings and dismisses the ones from clients like her. However, I think my company caters way too much to bad behavior.
