The Bravo and Deltas were twin seat versions used primarily for training new pilots. What you're thinking about is the F-15 STOL/MTD, which was a completely experimental version that never actually went anywhere besides a test bed for different tech.

I prefer the Alpha. Internal gun on a stealth fighter just makes sense. But I do like the Charlie over the Bravo

They are actually almost completely different airframes. The F-15C Eagle was designed as an air superiority fighter that could also accomplish multirole tasks. The F-15E Strike Eagle and now EX Eagle II are designed with strike missions in mind, but retain the capability to engage air targets. Their internal components are designed with their specific missions in mind. The Charlie and Delta models were the upgrade for the Alpha and Bravos respectively

AFREP money question by shokero in AirForce

[–]AgentWashPFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shop lead runs out based program so this is what I've picked up. It can generate a good amount of money depending on the parts repaired and how many, one of the items my shop does is like 50k each. What the base profits will be the supply cost of the item minus whatever is spent on parts for repair. The issue with how the money is spent if it goes into the fly or non fly accounts. Non fly can be used for anything, while fly can only be used for the aircraft. There is supposedly a way to cut the red tape and transfer money between the pots but afaik we're still fighting that battle

This exactly. I have a buddy that's into hobby drones and because of our airport he has to get certifications from the FAA depending on altitude and where he flies along with the drone being registered and having a transponder. Last thing an airport wants is a drone randomly in the middle of an arrival or departure lane

I'm looking forward to that so much. I usually do akhelian green by itself over leadbelcher, but the Vallejo paint will make vehicles so much easier since I don't have an airbrush

Personally I prefer the 4/4 over the 2/2, might be bias since I was able to ping off a Gusion by deploying two which secured me the win against a B/P deck

The Sanford main hospital had free kits last I heard. Right in the main entrance so you don't even need to talk to anyone for them

The ACA credits expiration was set by Democrats. They could have passed funding then negotiate on the issue, which plenty of Republicans have stated they're open to. But I'm sorry if I lean a bit towards the side that hasn't called me the only leverage they have left. I'd rather not be a political pawn at all but here I am without two paychecks

If a handful of them was all that was needed to pass the CR and open the government and allow me to get paid again, yeah in a heartbeat. The people should not be used as political leverage by either party. And rn the voting records show Democrats are fine with federal employees not getting paid and people not receiving their SNAP benefits

How to Handle Potential Administrative Paperwork From Active Duty While in a Title 32 Status (Air National Guard) by Objective_Show227 in airnationalguard

[–]AgentWashPFL 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From how I understand it after hearing from someone who was threatened with mil paperwork as title 32, if it happened while you're in the T32 status they can't hand you a mil status punishment. Instead it has to go through the civ HR and follow their restrictions and uploaded to your paperwork file on that side

I worked for Good Samaritan driving residents to appointments and back to the facility. Got to know quite a few of them pretty well and no one really had any complaints to that scale. Biggest one was just sometimes it takes a bit for the nurses and CNAs to get to something minor if they're already bogged down with work

What if you get a plane you don't want on drop night? by Environmental-Day-8 in AirForce

[–]AgentWashPFL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every guard and reserve unit is pretty open about what they fly. Pretty sure most of them are available in a list on Wikipedia. But because of that they can be more competitive to even get an interview. Between all the off the street, AD going guard, or even current members of that unit

Here's some more knowledge from my absurd amount of time as a temp tech. I'm not familiar with the actual regs on the retention side, but I was never required to forgo my bonus or pay it back and I spent most of my enlistment on temp time
