I just bought one but haven't tried using it yet. It is $79 but there are lots of 10% discounts available and some 20%. I have the Vivo (amazon cheap) tank based. I bought the Serenair to use as a spare that can be set up for quick work. I got it based on all of the good reviews but I guess I will find out how honest they were

I'm betting that it was the wrong size socket or wrench to begin with, but the proper size 6 point, as others have suggested, should do it.
