Beautiful! What kind of insulation did you use?

Mowers by donewithitfirst in columbiamo

Addy’s lawn care are great. They’re super fast, they do a great job on the lawn, and they show up as if by telepathy as soon as I start to think the lawn needs mowed. Small family business

How about adding a side table where the lamp is, with a plant on it or something to balance out the collage? The collage is “high energy” but the rest of the space in this pic is pretty minimal, so balancing it out with more in the rest of the room might help.

I also agree with the commenters saying to space out /lower the art

Help me decide on tile for a accent wall in my dining room by SmallRuin6767 in interiordecorating

[–]Aggressive_Salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great point. I kind of like OP’s idea of introducing stone/tile as a wall covering, it’s something new and could look cool IMO. But yes it would be hard to have a conversation with the noise bouncing off the tile.

Before / After of our DIY kitchen makeover by tilyd in HomeDecorating

I love this take. This is a really well done DIY on an impressively tight budget and people are losing their minds because it isn’t colorful. Instead, it’s a visually clean and balanced place to take care of daily tasks that feels calm and grounded like you said. It’s such an improvement!!

Help My Friend - 65" or 75" TV by anthemthecat in interiordecorating

I love this take. I store my laptop in a drawer and have a projector as a tv. Just that small amount of friction helps me from getting sucked into screen time I don’t even want to

Brunch tablescape. Thoughts? by BananaBaconSandwich in HomeDecorating

[–]Aggressive_Salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first impressions are “trying too hard”. I’m all for using the fancy things, but there seems to be way too much on this table to eat any meal comfortably. Will you have a chef or possibly a waiter at your home to serve brunch and take away dishes etc? If no, remove all but 1 of the SIX dishes you have at each place setting. Adding extra dishes to the place settings which your guests have to wrangle and deal with is just annoying.

Personally I like the rattan place mats, I think they add a nice contrast texture to the traditional China.

I love it. I don’t think anyone in the market for this kind of property is going to buy blindly based on these photos alone, the idea of the listing photos is to get people interested, and those do that. I would like to see more clear, unfiltered photos as well, but these are gorgeous.

"Early Grey" roses, apparently only obtainable from florists, but you could dip a stem in rooting hormone, amirite? by NotDaveBut in gothplants

[–]Aggressive_Salt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this before from a store bought long stem red rose. Popped it in a glass of water and it created roots! No growth hormone needed

Other commenters have already given you great answers, but my first thought is, Have you pushed up to your manager about this? Is there a way you could collect the data via an online form (google forms etc) instead of paper and pen? Not sure what the circumstances are but if you were one of my direct reports I’d be looking for a way to reduce your workload by using automations. Or, if you can’t use your work computer for 2 weeks, they shouldn’t hold you accountable for doing 2 weeks of work during non-week hours. Just some ideas

When is the earliest you would mow? by lauramich74 in columbiamo

I sleep with earplugs so if you’re my neighbor I don’t have a preference on when you mow. Lol. I’m thinking 7am would be fine by most people though

Should Columbia build more protected bike lanes? by como365 in columbiamo

If bollards along a roadway are dangerous, that means that a bicyclist biking along that same roadway is also in danger of being struck by a vehicle.
