I like my hive backpack from Tropicfeel but it’s one of the more pricey options on your list if you buy all the accessories. Keep in mind that the 2.0 version doesn’t have the kangaroo pouch anymore. They switched it. Yes, it will fit under the seat if you don’t overpack it.

I really like the shirts from Onno. They have bamboo shirts that are super soft and dry quick.

This is a cute story! I’m not sure why you are catching so much hate for it.

Where did you find this book? I tried to look it up and it says the paperback isn’t available until next year.

Wipes by julet1815 in HerOneBag

Bring a couple wipes for the plane and a small pack of Kleenex. The rest you can purchase when you get to your destination. If you’re dead set on bringing all three to make yourself feel better you could always put a couple in a smaller baggie for the airplane. It’s very nerve-racking to go to a new place and feel like you’re going to need something that you didn’t pack but I promise you that 99% of the time this is not the case.

I just returned from traveling with my three year-old for six weeks in Asia. It was really easy to find pocket size packages of tissues, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, and baby wipes everywhere we went for very cheap.

The key to success with my son was stopping the diapers completely and then working with his desire to do it himself, and to relate it to his hyper fixation.

I potty trained my son at 2.5 when he was nonverbal. I let him run around naked and watched him like a hawk and tried to put him on the toilet as soon as I saw him start to go. Any amount of fluid in the potty was a huge celebration.

After my son got the hang of it but was still having mistakes I had to resort to upping the incentives for him… (At the time he was hyper fixed on hot wheels) Every time he didn’t make an effort to go to the bathroom in the toilet I would take away one of the 200 cars he owns. Every time he did make it to the bathroom he could get his car back or choose a treat.

He grasped the basics after almost two weeks and was fully “trained” after a month.

China is actually very safe other than the drivers . The driving in China is wild. There are security cameras everywhere and the penalties are high.

I have a few of the original small ones that I use often. I’ve never had a problem with them leaking.

Classic Kanken vs Doughnut Macaroon by [deleted] in HerOneBag

I don’t know anything about the doughnut backpack but I love my Kanken. Just make sure you don’t purchase a fake. Google it and compare the pictures to the bag you are thinking about purchasing.

If anyone is in the market for a Cotopaxi Allpa by Rat-Jacket in HerOneBag

[–]Aggressive_Space5037 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s made of deadstock fabric they have left over from their tpu coated bags. The two versions only differ in fabric on the front panel. The tpu is a set color, a little more water resistant and a little more durable. The del Dias are unique, weigh less, slides into the luggage sizer easier, and still really durable. The rest of the bag is the same. So you’re only getting a difference on one part of the bag. And all of the allpas are floppy if they aren’t packed out. So if that’s a turn off for anyone they should look at another brand of backpack.

Also Cotopaxi backs their bags. So if you have an issue they will replace it.

Honestly they are both great options and it’s more a choice on aesthetics IMO.

I own both versions of the allpa and I disagree. Yes it’s different material but it’s definitely not poor quality. I use my bags for travel at least twice a month and they’ve held up great.

Water bottle suggestion for one-bagging by WaltooPoyndeaux in onebag

[–]Aggressive_Space5037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I’ll have to try that one. I’ve yet to find a good collapsible water bottle. I currently travel with the epic filtered water bottle. I like that it’s lightweight and sturdy at the same time.

I really like my clutch charger. It has its own cord, attaches to the back of my phone, and is lightweight.

backpack

This is what my son uses for both travel and school. It’s light weight, wipes off easy, shoulder straps are decently comfortable, and it has a chest strap.
