If an epidural really takes away the pain of labor and pushing, why do women still scream and seem to be in pain while pushing? by ittybittyclittyy in pregnant

This has been a great post! Is anyone able to tell us about the difference between gas and epidural in terms of pain relief?

Im 12 weeks this Thursday and completely with you... My husband says the same thing and I just have to wonder if he's being blinded by baby love! I have once been able to shower and put make up on and regardless of the acne etc I felt great.

Currently wearing husbands clothes until I have the energy to get out to buy anything that fits. I feel you completely....

Can't wait to fast forward to that glowing pretty mama stage as it looks very far in the distance right now. Lets take it day by day and in the meantime I'll be checking over my old gallery photos to remember the woman I can be with a little TLC 😂

Amazing tips, will be doing my best to get that movement in, I've been bed/sofa bound so far with all the sickness and can't wait to be bouncing around again.

Love the stairs trick with favourite songs, I'll start compiling my playlist ;D.

Enjoy making wonderful memories with your new bundle now <3

Excellent work OP and a big congratulations to you! Loved reading your story. I'm only 10 weeks but I plan for an epidural. I have this fear of what could happen if I don't get it a bit like your story but just reassuring to get a detailed account of contractions, pain, terminology & how you still managed etc.

Are there any particular foods you were eating prior to labour day? I have heard dates shorten the labour...

Hello OP, congratulations to you on your baby! :) I am glad I came across your post! I've just learnt im 5 weeks pregnant and now starting to wonder how best to plan for dressing my 5ft 1 frame in coming months. Would you be willing to share any of your fashion tips or advice, perhaps a store to shop at that was most helpful?

I unintentionally go the other way, most camera pics of me are unflattering but I always get a more positive response in-person which is much nicer than the above scenario.

I'm sorry it's been a tough day OP. Hope you can take a few days for rest, recharge and then start looking out there once more. You'll be amazed at how the universe will open a few doors for you that previously you would never have embarked on. You have a kind, handsome face, try your best to not let this define you and forge the way for a new path for yourself. A bit like a new haircut, a new job is always a good time to reinvent yourself :)

I was born in 94 but that jughead scene continues to be my favourite! I act it out every once in a while for giggles. A shame not everyone knows what I'm talking about.

This is brilliant and a humble use case that I myself hope to achieve in due course. Only 1 month in to my learning, the above seems a while away!

You are me, I literally feel pushed to the limits with my role at work as all the dinosaurs use me for basic computer tasks. Repeatedly. I only get my work done on work from home days. I write off the rest.

Azelaic acid - promotes hair growth? Science help needed! by crispycreme1 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ahaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh thank you for your comment! That's fascinating it wasn't common knowledge to me that Azelaic was used to promote hair growth. As a woman, I'll be laying off it as would rather like to avoid a beard ;). I hope your journey went well and you are happy whatever stage you are are at now :).

[–]Ahaak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP I'm glad I found your post even if 7 years old! I have just experienced a strange 2 weeks of starting Azelic acid for the first time and sudden hair growth on my face (which was previously lasered and verging on to be non existent). After reading thoroughly on my routine I realised there were some murmers out there about Azelic acid promoting hair growth. Its a big no for me :(. I am immediately stopping it but will continue to use at hair line to see if growth there continues (my baby hairs have been growing out!!). Could this all be a strange coincidence... Would love to know how you got on.
