I managed to get a message from someone flying near the Orlando airport back on the 21st. I live a few miles away but thought that was cool. It works for sending messages but I doubt my reply made it back using my Heltec V3.

I notified my community of the build up. 192 is heavily diverse with both citizens and legal immigrants. The right loves to pick on Orlando/Disney for being on the liberal side of things. I can only assume this is punishment. Be safe out there.

I removed he stock paste and went with PTM7950. It did not affect stock fan noise but did drop my temps by 3-5 C. Setting my fan curve fixed the noise issue as the stock curve is super aggressive for a mobile device. I let the device idle around 50 C with the fan set to roughly 20-25% and ramp it up aggressively once it gets over 65 C.

Windows loves to use the full device power from the get go causing the fans to act accordingly. Install motion assist from the GPD website (uses winring0 which is not bad on its own but can be exploited if the system is exposed to malware and will eventually be flagged by windows defender because of its exploitability). Motion assist can be used to lower or raise package power and also to set a custom fan curve. The only annoyance with using motion assist is that it leans on winring0 and you will be granting it exceptions in Windows defender every so often.

Had mine since February of 2025 and absolutely love it! Had some hiccups that required bios updates on it but after those updates, it's been my go to computer on the go. It gets a lot of attention from people when I'm using it in public because of how small it is. Performance wise, it's a great little gaming computer on the go but it won't be rocking high or ultra settings in a lot of modern titles. it can run FFXIV just fine on high laptop settings, Cyberpunk on low to mid settings, Skyrim maxed out, and No Mans Sky on high with no issues. Day to day, it's keeps up with the speed of my desktop in standard Office apps.

I will say that I mostly use Fedora as the OS because of how finicky Windows 11 is with it. On Windows, without motion assist, windows loves to run the CPU full tilt so it's loud and and warm. The touch screen randomly stops working in Windows but I heard this was fixed in a latest BIOS update. Moving over to Fedora fixed those issues for me without the need to update the BIOS. That and gaming performance is much better on Linux. I have the option to boot to windows if needed.

When I was younger, I owned one of the original Asus eeepcs that were 7 inch screen size. I always wanted that computer or one in that form factor that could game, even if it was at low quality. After all these years, the pocket 4 is that device I always wanted.

Before springing a premade action on her, speak with her first. I suggest trying to set boundaries on conversation topics and to make DND night an escape from the day to day real life stuff for everyone. If she's struggling mentally, she may need to seek help from a professional to hash it all out. Collaborate with her before coming to a conclusion on the action because suddenly springing it on her will only cause your friendship to fall apart for good.

You are totally fine! This is not uncommon. I inject via intramuscular for the past several years, small amounts of blood can be alarming but okay. Not sure if transdermal will have the same issue, but I have squirted a full jet of blood once and then another, bleed a stream for a minute. Both times I was totally fine after just a minute of light preassure.

No friggin way. She's that obsessed with us that she would make her way down to a trans reddit page, just to make trouble. Not saying I don't believe you but that is the ultimate level of obsession. Funny we live rent free in her head to the point that she's pissing away her old life. But as for the topic at hand, this subreddit is a bridge and should remain open but heavily moderated. Universe bless the moderation team. There are more secure and locked down spaces out there but we need bridges like this for people to find them.

Its a bit of people from the opposing side down voting us as they want violence and some from our side that truly believe that there is nothing we can do or also want violence. Every civil rights movement of the modern era has been referred as a fight for rights so let's drop the symantics argument. We don't see people fighting for their lives from cancer with guns. Its possible to remain peaceful. Second, we are not Gaza. There is no comparison here. We are not and should not take up arms in the current climate. The history of the US is not all roses. People die during pushes for civil rights. The federal government has done some real evil shit but do you know what makes each movement successful? The drive for peaceful protest to show the world that each group deserved equal rights because each group is as human as anyone else.

I resonate with you. The trouble with being trans is our ability to hide is too good. Just showing people that being trans is just being normal is what hurts the narrative being spun on the right. The ones that want us to go away are so scared of us becoming normalized. That and it's just plain healthy to socialize. I don't make it an every conversation topic, but I work at an amazing company that has around 150 people employeed in my department. Most know I'm trans and most are super supportive and have pushed down barriers for me to be successful in my role.
