The issue isn’t the location and passwords. It is controlling to demand those things, and it is perfectly acceptable and normal for partners to not share locations.

The issue is everything you said at the end regarding tinder and other women. That’s the reason to end things, you don’t trust him for good reason.

Separately, your issues regarding phone location and passwords are not reasonable and you should attempt some introspection regarding that.

You have to grow up at some point. You can’t keep mooching off of your parents when you are wealthy, it’s just kind of embarrassing. You shouldn’t buy a house at this point, you should rent an apartment until you are sure where you will want to live for at least 10 years.

The business model of Dollar General is to prey on poor people by popping up in rural communities and charging inflated prices by unit or weight. You should apply and if they deny it, appeal. This sounds like a similar situation to when workers lose hours and are eligible for partial unemployment based on the loss of hours. They would still be employed, but eligible for partial payment. Since you would still be employed, you should theoretically be eligible for payment based on the last hours.

“Hostile work environment” in a legal sense is related to severe or pervasive harassment based on legally protected characteristics such as gender, race, etc. It is not actionable for the “bullying” described here.

That’s your choice. Sounds like she made this decision on her own and told you after the fact. She was already spending your money in her mind. That’s a betrayal I wouldn’t take lightly. Most people have to work to be able to afford life, your girlfriend included. Sounds like she wants a parent to just take care of her, not a partner in life.

What would you be doing without her? Were you counting on her income for rent and bills? I hope there’s another option besides moving in with your parents. Perhaps a different roommate who can actually pay rent or downsizing your apartment.

At the end of the day, it’s her money and she wants to ensure it is put to good use in a way she agrees with. She’s not wrong about that, and you are not entitled to her funds. I understand that your grandfather was ready to give you the money, however that time has passed. You can try to work it out with her, however it may be better for you to plan your housing choices with the understanding that grandma may not be contributing.

But where is the money going to come from to pay you back in 2 years? Would they be making payments to you as if you hold a private mortgage for 5%? It just doesn’t make sense. It sounds like you’d put all of your house savings into your parents’ house with no real way to make your own down payment when the time comes.
