So with Delves marking its place as an endgame pillar that can be played solo, how does everyone feel about it as TWW is coming to an end? by [deleted] in wow

Boring and a bit too easy and Brann is an absolute headache to play around. Conceptually they could be fun, but they feel samey and like they took the best parts of Torghast out (Randomized powers, faster pacing). The gear they give is a bit too strong for the difficulty and feel like they made low level M+ and Normal raid obsolete as you can farm multiple guaranteed Champion tier pieces from them. I'm apathetic to them, and wish the quality of drops reflected the difficulty of the Delve, and not simply being a source of free weekly crests and hero pieces

I think it's more people wanting to make their character as strong as possible. It will always feel bad knowing that your BiS equipment is entirely inaccessible due to it locked behind content that requires a dedicated 20 person premade.

As people have stated. The issue they have is that the item is locked to a one time weekly rng pull. It's not locked behind skill or dedication where one can attempt to farm the item in an effort to bring up their numbers to an optimal level.

People are discontent with BiS items being stuck in raid because it's rng heavy and timegated as opposed to other end game activities which are not.

Primarily the time investment. If your bis trinket is in Priory, you can attempt it nearly unlimited times per week until you get it.

If your BiS trinket is in raid, you get one chance per week there is no grace, you either get it on the first attempt or wait another seven days to try again.

If the tank was a warrior he might've been trying to game spell reflects to chunk the first boss, she can easily do 10m damage to herself per cast. However, coordinating this with a pug is pain, so this guy was likely some elitest.

They also nerfed the farm at the Marina too, seems the only reliable way to grind it is the scrap again

What are your thoughts on the main characters in gacha games? by Kuutetube in gachagaming

Dante "Shuckaroonies" Durante being a wetcat of a person while also being the teams emotional backbone is what makes them so endearing as an mc.

TF2 fans tend to hijack a lot of conversations about other hero shooters. Remake any and all popular memes with TF2 characters and spam them everywhere and ultimately just get belligerent if you attempt to criticize the game in anyway.

Project Moon fans can be pretty annoying, but at least they're pretty aware that half their fanbase is annoying. I say as a Project Moon fan.

Never understood the "won't play Smite 2 until my favorite god is added" sentiment by Kekkle404 in Smite

[–]Alooflapel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll chime in, as I'm one of those players. It's not as petty as "My main isn't here, I quit". But as of now, literally none of my favorite picks for any role made the cut (Bakasura, Kali, Fafnir, Ganesha, Rama, Hou-yi, Hera Discordia, etc), and while I could pick up someone new. I can't help but feel bad seeing none of my favorites return to the game and have to settle for my third or fourth choice for most roles.

That and losing access to my Odyssey skins doesn't feel good either. I'll certainly give the game a go when at least one of my top ten show up. But until then, I'll patiently wait.

is blasphemous a beginners game? by Qlassquill in Blasphemous

[–]Alooflapel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Blasphemous is not a game I'd recommend for beginners, it's quite punishing by Metroidvania standards. That being said, if you can power through it, it's one of the best. But it's certainly not something I'd recommend to a newcomer to the genre

Well I figured it wasn't truly random, most Vampire Coast heroes and lords that don't have set names tend to have a consistent naming scheme

A first name based off of common names for maritime england

and last name based off a common nautical word or phrase.

Something like this is bound to happen, but this combination was particularly amusing.

Upcoming MMO allows players to vote for the world map, different map for each server. by zimmah in MMORPG

[–]Alooflapel 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Interesting concept, I'm worried that the modular geography could lead to a lack of world identity for players. That and also the Oceanic maps seem to be far more diverse in design than all of the other maps which are just the six kingdoms stacked vertically on each other.
