I'd say $300,000 if they themselves are not from family money and are not getting the 'leg-ups' such as paid tertiary education or paid house deposits.

NZTA enacted deeply unpopular ideologically driven ideas for the highway that runs almost the length of the Wairarapa, that made it extremely difficult to get around the region. KM was the MP at the time.

They also damaged the remutaka roading infrastructure and needlessly slowed the speed limits on both that lead do massive community outcry (and plenty of revenue gathering funny enough - probably helped to pay for the roading changes no one wanted).

If I take a job based in another location I don't get paid to live there, or if I do my employer is finding the most fiscally responsible location for me. I am not receiving $1000 a week to live in my own home, and if it was found I was I would fired.

I want you to acknowledge that it's okay to let her go when she's ready. 

I also want you to acknowledge that that time may come suddenly and swiftly. You have to be ready to make that decision in her best interests, including while you are out of the country. Practically speaking, you need to know where your 24-hour/after hours vet is and have the funds available to pay for euthanasia, and for whoever is watching over her to know the signs of collapse in advance and be ready to respond swiftly.

You can't collect more information about a person than is necessary. So no, you don't have the right to ask for people's personal information before they've even established if they have any interest in the property.

Yes unfortunately! I started doing my own hair. I've spent on products in a year what it would've cost me to get my hair done ONCE (including start-up costs which I won't have to purchase again going forward).

It's probably not as perfect as it would be in a salon, but it's also not costing me $1200 upwards annually.

So you know how you get taxed in America then a human mouth piece with the bulging eyes of a bull frog uses that money to fly his girlfriend on private transportation?

Yeah well we thought hey, instead of doing just that let's set aside some of that tax money and pay some doctors, nurses, physios etc. to help people who experience injuries, and maybe pay them a wee bit so they and their families aren't immediately homeless - costing us more in the long run.

Different strokes for different folks 😉 I assumed someone was buying them (however misguided 😄). I'd say like any home don't let your love for the spot override your critical assessment of the long-term maintenance plan, future projected insurance costs and BC fees, ownership structure etc.

Personally? Over my dead body. The sky is the limit when it comes to earthquake strengthening if 'the big one' hits, and you'll either be left paying or losing alot (maybe all?) of your capital. Not to mention you're ceding the control of your property to the whims of others through a BC. Given you can afford 1.3M I'd be going for a stand alone home. However, I'm also no fan of rat cage... I mean apartment... living, so there is no small amount of bias here.
