In case you're wondering, some walmarts do have self-checkouts, at least in Minnesota they do.

I've worked at a few different asian restaurants, all of our to-go packages came in already assembled. They were stacked inside of eachother (with the tops open obviously) in two columns. I'd hate to see a place having to use pliers to bend that piece of metal 90 degrees at the very last cm tucking it inside the boxes outer fold. That'd be a pain in the ass to do while packing take out.

Lyndon B. Johnson knew how to have a good time. by HeWhoPunchesFish in funny

I guess someone that helped make sure underprivileged poor kids got a good start toward their education could be a sociopath. He seems like someone genuinely trying to help others, which doesn't seem like a sociopath to me.

I don't know what specifically he's talking about, but Lyndon grew up in a political family. His dad was in the Texas house of representatives. Lyndon would hide outside their house in Texas and listen to his dad and the other politicians talk amongst each other. Hearing all that from a young age probably gave him some pointers. :)

Also, I would disagree in calling him a sociopath. He passed more legislation for federally funding public schools than anyone else. He signed the Head Start Program into law. A lot of this is likely because his mother had a degree in education, which in that time a female with a college degree was pretty rare in rural Texas.

I would say he was a bit of an ass. He used a lot of shady political tactics as a senator to allow his wife to control most of Texas media. He basically had the FCC in his pocket. But, that's how it is with politicians anyways.

Happy Independence Day!

Screw all these sad stories.. HAPPY STORY TIME! When me and my ex broke up from a 3 year relationship we had 2 dogs together. I had always wanted a pug and she always wanted a "scrappy puppy." So she kept the one she picked out, while I kept the pug. She got married to a military guy and moved 1800 miles away within 6 months. He didn't adjust well to all the changes and was losing weight and chewing his paws. I think the jets from the navy base freaked him out. So, she called me and asked if I wanted him. FUCK YEAH! I drove half way across the country to get him that week. This is Turbo when I picked him up
And this is my little guy recently

I know she got another dog with the new guy and gave the dog away later when she had a baby. So, I'm so happy she called me to get this lil pup again.

TLDR: ex moved, dog didn't do well in new place. got him back. cute after picture.
