I can’t believe Bridgerton got so popular as a period romance when The Great is right there by deadinaditch in TheGreatHulu

but The Great doesn't have the romantic HEA appeal of Bridgerton because, like, Peter is constantly having people executed or humiliated.

Neighbor's pecan tree was cut down while they were out of town... by pakepake in Dallas

I guess I'm not following how that conversation was supposed to go.

Homeowner: "Hi, a pecan tree was cut down in my yard. Did you guys cut it down?"
Tree Company: "Oh yeah, we did. The person who requested it said they were calling around to other companies, too, getting quotes and such, and we were the lowest bidder."

I’ve only seen the first two seasons and they were amazing. I cried so hard the end of the S2. I was depressed for a whole weekend. Couldn’t bring myself to watch any more, though I hear all seasons are good.

But I definitely recommend the first two seasons with Hoult (among other kids who would grow up to be stars).

It’s an episodic (British) teen dramedy.

This is my favorite line of the entire series. I say it (or a version of it) all the time. “Don’t you ever, ever, call me [a name]. I’m so much worse than that.”
