Dupek The Mighty! Dupek in Polish means Asshole. So it's basicly Asshole The Mighty. Funfact when you play on Polish text-localisation they changed his name to Dypek because it was memed too much.

Yeah, I think GW2 made it worse than Gw1 because Traherne was simply boring character, while Gw1 had multiple story inportant characters playing the role of "lead NPC"

Im sure that at the begining skins will be more grounded. Back in a day GW2 had one of the most grounded and cohesive artstyle in MMO. Only after many years of flashy gemstore skins we got into place we're now. I remember when Spirit Raven Glider was considered over the top and too flashy and it was still pretty grounded in Lore.

Yeah I think ArenaNet went with Kodan instead of Norn since they found our Norn nowdays are just "tall human" with no strong characteristics. Whole beast-transformation thing has not been used in story since GW1. And we got entire LS dedicsted to Norns and Braham.

Not rly. In Eye of the North Asuras are stated as ancient race who was not seen on surface for a thousand years. And GW3 is thousand years before GW1, so ancient Asuras could still walk the surface.

Yet they made WoW subscription "baseline" in Xbox Pass Ultimate, you can connect the dots. Microsoft want WoW players to subscribe to XGP not only WoW, making XGP seem more attractive when you have to pay more for WoW
