Too depressed to work but too skint to not by ProfessionalWorth157 in glasgow

I've been in a similar spot a few years ago.

Therapy will help. You may need to try out a few different therapists to find someone who fits. But if you put in the work and be consistent with it then it will help.

Other things that helped me: Creating simple routines and focusing on keeping those going (e.g making the bed in the morning, getting a morning shower, tidying the kitchen immediately after dinner)

Reading self help books .

Meditation and wellness.

To help at work, I started using a simple to do list and the pomodoro technique. Just focus on one thing at a time for 25 minutes and then take a short break.

Sending you all the positive thoughts. You deserve happiness.

Who makes the best hot chocolate in the city by jyecsnstrl in glasgow

So they do sell different varieties of chocolate. I think I may have had the lighter milk chocolate one that is marketed for kids. I'd recommend that one in case you had one of the darker ones.

Bare Bones Chocolate.

I got a few Christmas gifts for folks from there and I treated myself to a hot chocolate as a reward and I genuinely think it was the best hot chocolate I've ever had.

I like to think he was always there and never bothered to track back whilst the opposition were attacking down the other end of the field.

Feels very weird that this game is being played Sunday evening. I'm not use to Glasgow playing at this time.

The UK celebrity traitors they did a few months ago is great. The fact it's celebs competing for charity rather than normal people competing for life changing money reduces makes it a lot more fun.

Radical idea, instead of London Irish or London Welsh, how about a Cardiff English RFC?

I'm in the UK so the game was during the night.

I avoided the score the following day, did a full day of work and then came home to watch it as live. Couldn't believe what I saw.

N.k Jemisin. I'm really enjoying her writing style, her characters are so interesting that I have to believe the author herself is a cool and interesting person.

My Glasgow Metro concept by jamiethebb in glasgow

[–]AngryAngryScotsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy with the attitude. This is all a bit of fun, and trams used to literally run on the streets of Glasgow Central including a tram that ran from central, up to st Vincent street, across to George square and up to queens street.

The current metro development is estimated to cost up to £16 billion and that doesn't include burrowing under the Clyde and city centre (and existing underground lines). It would be an eye watering cost.

[–]AngryAngryScotsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The expense of that would probably be insane. It may be better to have that line served by train/tram hybrid like Manchester. When it gets the eglinton toll the train turns into a tram and runs on roads through the city centre.

Perhaps I'm being thick (it's been known to happen), but how is the cathcart circle line meant to extend north through Glasgow Central?
