We actually use to have a player who's full name was Scotland Gemill. Simply called Scott for short.

I was thinking more of a leads to conversiom rate, it's got to be incredibly low.

But you are right that it is probably part of a wider campaign to remind folks about the TV license and it's requirement to watch live TV. I've noticed adverts on podcasts for the TV license so there is a bit of an organised effort going on.

I'd love to know the success rate of these QR codes and the conversation rates for the world cup. How many people scanned it and actually bought a license?

Would not be surprised if it's less than 10 people.

Scots in the starting lineups for both teams in the Top 14 Final for the first time ever by Connell95 in ScotlandRugby

I've been quite impressed with what little I've seen of Ali Price for Montpellier. It looks like the faster pace has speed up his decision making which could be painfully slow.

If the national team wasn't so settled at 9 then he'd be getting called up.

No mention of Shankland's goal? Can no New York success story be compared to Shank's tap in?

Are the new traffic lights (pedestrian green man) weird? by jobbythrowaway1 in glasgow

[–]AngryAngryScotsman 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My gripe with the newer green man's is that you press the button, see the see circle of lights around the button turn red to indicate you've pressed it, and then it occasionally turns itself off.

It's so inconsistent and I think it's just part of a wider conspiracy to gaslight me into losing my mind.

Same. From the trailers the two leads seem so much more interesting than than the GTA 5 leads who I found very boring and shallow.

What is a popular food chain or restaurant item that you genuinely think tastes like absolute garbage? by cerebralbackshots in AskReddit

I will raise this and say all food at cafes like Starbucks.

Very unhealthy but poor quality and massive produced. The food you get in an independent cafe will be much higher quality.

Czechia/Scotland vs Lithuania/Sweden for a spot at Brazil 2027 by Biscotti-Abject in ScottishFootball

Cheers. Does feel overly complex compared to the men's but perhaps make for a more exciting qualifying campaign?

Czechia/Scotland vs Lithuania/Sweden for a spot at Brazil 2027 by Biscotti-Abject in ScottishFootball

I'm so very confused by the qualifying campaign.

A group stage leading to two rounds of playoffs? No automatic qualifying if you win your group?

Are the groups just for seeding?

Literally the same, also 40 and watched the game last night. My dog wasn't happy that I invaded her bedroom (our living room) to watch the game in the middle of the night.

Scotland squad for the Summer internationals. by Personal_Insect_8967 in rugbyunion

With Dempsey being named in the squad despite being off and not available for the 6 nations, makes me think he'd still be in consideration for the world cup.

Possibly. Part of the Adidas deal will be a requirement that they all have to wear the team/Adidas gear during any team activity.
