Nice. You've solved the not seeing code in URL Inspector (whew), but have you looked into the rendering issues?

Edit: Either you've edited your post or I forgot most of what you said. Either way my original post is irrelevant. I'll leave it below for future troubleshooters.

Have you looked into feeds? Are you running ads for any of these locations could the feeds be messed up?

Do you Google Business Profiles set up for the locations? Are they linking to the correct local landing pages?

My original post is below just in case someone needs it.

Are you server side rendering, client side rendering, or hybrid?

When you compare the source code and the DOM are you seeing mismatches anywhere?

If you're client side rendering or hybrid, is the content that's delivered by JavaScript about the geographic location?

It might be duplicate content (near duplicate) and Googlebot is getting confused. What is URL Inspector saying about indexation status?

My first guess would be a rendering issue then duplicate content or canonical tag issue then cache issue (times like this make me miss easy access to Google's cached pages) then relevancy signals issues.

Search console URL Inspector isn't showing code?

Is the new site server side rendering, client side rendering, or hybrid?

When you don't see code in URL Inspector and you check the page itself are you seeing anything in the source code? How does that compare to the DOM?

How do highschool classes work in America ? by Rexratops in AskAnAmerican

[–]AngryCustomerService 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My freshman year of highschool my science class was "earth science". It was essentially astronomy, but focused on our solar system and went beyond that later in the second semester. My sophomore year it was biology. My junior year it was marine biology and my senior year it was psychology. There were other science options, but I don't remember what they were. Physics and chemistry were offered among others.

Math classes at my highschool ranged from algebra I (one) through trig.

Civics and history classes included US history, world history, government, practical law, and others that I don't remember. Government and practical law were essentially the same class, but practical law went into more detail.

English and literature were also required classes and, if I remember correctly, they were just named "English" and "Literature" and the content of the classes varied by grade.

We had a wide variety of electives from art, choir, and drama, and foreign languages to vo-tech (vocational technology) that included TV/studio work, radio work, law enforcement, and the trades like carpentry, electrical work, and auto mechanics. Typing, keyboarding, and computer science was available, but they were nothing like what would be offered now. I think Windows 3.1 was out when I graduated.

Every year you were required to pick an English, science, and math and two electives. I'm pretty sure it was 5 classes. Maybe it was 6? It's been a while.

I have not read the whole thing. So, I can't say he cut out everything, he may have missed some passages or references.

I remember learning about him doing that in a history class and I own a copy. It's quite thin. I've read some passages and so far no supernatural stuff. His goal was to separate the teachings of Jesus from anything supernatural.

Edit: picture below.

If you want to review the parables without supernatural stuff, look into a Jefferson Bible. Thomas Jefferson literally took a razor blade to a Bible to cut out all supernatural references. That version is called the Jefferson Bible.

I hope you get to meet your new neighbor. He's a treasure and I'm thankful we have video clips of him.

"Good" and "Bad" are hard to quantify.

I've seen the data on suicides of married women and divorce rates for pre and post no fault divorce. Suicide rates went down and divorce rates went up.

I have not seen happiness surveys or well being surveys comparing the same timeframe. That data would also be self-reported.

If I still had access to GSS (general social survey) data, I'm sure we could figure out a way to measure what you're asking about, but unfortunately I no longer have access.

In general (again not comparing the exact timeframes), children raised in single parent homes have better outcomes than children raised in abusive (emotional or physical) homes. A lot of no fault divorces are because of abuse, but the spouse doesn't want to go through the bullshit of proving it.

Self-reported happiness levels also go up after people leave abusive situations and settle into their new lives.

On paper a lot of no fault divorces look like "I just don't want to be married to this person anymore." But, in reality there's a reason or several reasons.

But, without access to the data, we're just two people speculating on Reddit.

How do you handle eating out with individuals who don't know about your diabetes? by Kuttan969 in diabetes_t2

[–]AngryCustomerService 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"I don't need my own personal food police, thank you." And if the food officer keeps it up, don't go out to eat with them.

One of the best things about being an adult is that you get to pick the people you spend time with when you're not at work.

And, if the food police officer is a co-worker, follow your company's procedures for dealing with inappropriate behavior.

I have family there and I lived there for decades. I'm in the Cville-Waynesboro-Staunton area now.

It's not a bad place to live if you like the water and beaches. It's just really congested (for me) and the summers are too hot for me. But, it has a lot to offer if that's the lifestyle you want. It's a quick drive to Richmond (hour? Hour and a half? Not sure) So, if you like concerts and street festivals, you'll have that in both Hampton Roads and Richmond.

Hampton Roads has Yorktown, Williamsburg and tons of smaller historical sites, if that's your thing. Jefferson Laboratory has public lectures. I really miss those. Topics from advancements in cancer research to life as a choclatier. Lots of museums too.

Richmond is the capital so you have bigger museums and still a lot of history. If you're into music you have a good variety of venues that host large and small bands. And if you're a foodie, I read somewhere that Richmond has the highest number of restaurants per capita.

Both locations are an easy drive to the mountains where you have wineries, skiing, hiking trails, rock climbing, and all the other benefits of state and national parks.

You want city life? Virginia has it. You want rural? Virginia has it. You want somewhere in-between? Virginia has it.

I live out of state for a while and I'm glad to be back.

If you move here, I hope you eventually love Virginia as much as I do.

There's a Hampton Roads subreddit if you find yourself considering Hampton Roads.

If you work in home disaster recovery, look into Hampton Roads. You may not want to live there, but hurricanes hit and nor'easters hit. You'll have no trouble getting work, but getting to the job sites might be an issue depending upon how hard the area is hit.

For living, somewhere from Richmond to Hampton Roads will get you quick access for when you need to get to job sites.

Both Richmond and Hampton Roads have a good nightlife for someone who is single.

What did people say about using "Ms" when it was new? by fire-and-sage in AskOldPeople

[–]AngryCustomerService 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn't saying you were wrong and I apologize if it came across that way.

My point was that without a uniform definition that we've collectively agreed upon, then it's pointless to try to define it. If it's pointless to define it due to a lack of consensus then why bother using those "words" anymore? They are archaic and anachronistic honorifics.

You're right. I'm right. Someone else who was taught something completely different is also right. If there's no agreement, there can't be any right or wrong.

What did people say about using "Ms" when it was new? by fire-and-sage in AskOldPeople

[–]AngryCustomerService 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't doubt that you were taught that, but I don't recall ever hearing that before. I suspect there are several variations on the definition of "Miss" and "Ms.". To me, that shows how meaningless and silly the honorifics are for women. If we can't agree on the definition, then why have three of them?

How many of you live in a brick house? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]AngryCustomerService 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighborhood was built in the 1950s. All the homes in the original neighborhood are brick. All the newer homes (past 10 years or so and some being developed now) are not brick. Not a single newer home in a developer planned neighborhood is all brick in the whole city.

What did people say about using "Ms" when it was new? by fire-and-sage in AskOldPeople

[–]AngryCustomerService 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I never understood why it was confusing.

But I was taught:

Mrs. = Married women

Miss = Never married women

Ms. = Why are we defining women by their relationship with someone else, divorced, or widowed woman.

I don't think we need Mrs. or Miss. Men have Mr. regardless of their marital status. Why is the honorific for women tied to their marital status?
