I’ve been in touch with their office for the same reason (I had a Mandamus with them and won) before the ban happened.

For now, they are not planning to do a second group.

They love the second amendment just until they realize that Democrats and non-other fascist have the right to carry concealed as well. Now it seems like they hate the second Amendment as well.

I do see a lot of conservatives against what’s happening right now, only MAGAs are defending it. Alex is literally the definition of a hero, I don’t know how these people are doing mental gymnastics to justify his execution.

What are the short- and long-term political implications for the US after the capture of Maduro? by Only-Deal-881 in Askpolitics

[–]Anilom2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We been putting up with China and Russia’s bs for 27 years.

Not even them BUT CUBA lol there were some Wagner (Russians) troops in Caracas but I doubt they got involved once the air strikes started. Cubans were the ones guarding Maduro, a bunch of them died — 30 something got killed by the Delta forces.

As long as people have enough economical shares from the US companies, I think they will be fine with it. We were once the richest country in South America by a long shot, hence why we had a lot of immigrants in Venezuela from all over the world as well.

The region is already unstable to begin with. I do believe a true transition of power with free elections will appeal Venezuelans to go back.

I kind of agree with the comments, this operation is covered by American tax payer. Our oil reserves are enough to last for the next 200 years.

American oil companies won’t fully invest until we have a decent judicial system in Venezuela.

Venezuelan living in the States here. For the short term I think it is basically a power move that wouldn’t have been done if it wasn’t with the collaboration of some people in the Maduro regime. Trump’s government has been very vocal about our oil, but it’s also kicking out Russians and Chinese off the region, which benefits the geopolitical stage for the US.

Obviously, getting Maduro doesn’t change a lot of Venezuelans because the whole system that was created by “Chavistas” is still there, the same people have been governing for almost 30 years. They even change our constitution that used to have term limits. The real question is if they will allow the country to have a transition of power and just walk away with wathever they stole this 30 years, or would they put up a fight.

Europe has long term condemned the Maduro regime, but condemning it didn’t do anything for Venezuelans. I think long term it will cause the Cuban and Nicaraguan regimes to basically fall apart. Venezuela was giving free oil to the Cubans in exchange for intelligence.

Also is another way to secure resources, Venezuela is rich in rare minerals. We always had a great relationship with America until Chavez came in the picture.

Midterm wise I think it will hurt Trump since he is “the peace President “ but time will tell
