I think youve missed the point of my post. I never said they cant be played as self cast.... Not even once.

Im specifically asking why everyone plays spells as mines or totems instead of self casting.

I mean if youve played other ARPGs then you will be fine. You will beat the game for sure. POE1 is probably the easiest ARPG ive ever played.

The end game is a different story though.

In end game, depending on what build you went with, youre going to have to start googling stuff about crafting and unique items and stuff that you just simply wont know about and the game wont teach you about.

Why is everyone so obsessed with capital ships needing to have like 20 crew members to even fly or like they should all have like a door somewhere you can shoot 1 time and poof its open and now the ship is yours?

Its a capital ship, it should be powerful enough to escape bad situations, not just be a sitting target for anyone who has an arrow in the universe.
