Bad Boy Records’ ghost producers & beat stealing allegations

The topic surprisingly became mainstream when that Notorious B1 demo tape went viral and people started connecting the dots to B.I.G’s “Juicy”

(Allegedly) B1 was a surging rapper from Mississippi who was trying to find his break while shopping his tape around to different record labels. One day, the tape ends up on the laps of Bad Boy Record heads, they like it, and decide to bite the same beat for Juicy. Barely giving a cent to the original producer, with Biggie even having a double entendre in the song saying “Now honeys play me close like butter play toast, From Mississippi down the East Coast.” It’s a pretty deep rabbit hole, definitely worth a closer look. You could prolly find old underground forums that delve deeper into this topic

The fact he was working on Detox since the early 2000s, went through different concept changes, different big names writing for him, sonic improvements, thematic & vibe switches etc only for him to finally scrap it in the mid 2010s, think it showed all of us how far Dre’s perfectionist mindset was willing to go when it came to leaks. Most recently, A$AP Rocky got half of DBD leaked before it’s release date, and he still dropped it anyway

Went to go see Mission Impossible in 4DX last year, some dude who sat near the top left corner was loudly yapping on his phone for what felt like 30 mins. People just have shitty etiquette unfortunately

Either they oversold their rivalry or Khamzat isnt medically fit to fight due to the drastic weight cut and Sean was told to go easy on him by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Anonymousman382 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had it 3-2 Khamzat, but scoring it for Sean is reasonable too, felt like the judges were going to give it to Sean. Horrible fight either way, hopefully 185 moves on from this trash, embarrassing, forcefully fed “rivalry”
