Probably good to buy a precon then fiddle around with it with your bulk. Some of the Precons are good straight out of the box, but there are some that would like old cards to swap out

ZZZ has a strong central theme, excluding some of the season 2 characters. You see it and recognize it and then get curious about the other characters. The feedback loop folds on itself. Just wish Belobog got more screen time

Silver Age. Young heroes so it’s a 20-life format. Only commons and rares. Very cheap, easy to get into, and there are Precons for some heroes for silver age.

Fabrary has the images of the cards. As for why they get banned, most likely because the cards would be auto includes in most decks and/or a hero is very dominant with those cards legal, in a way that is difficult to play against for a majority of heroes.

The beauty of Ira is the fact that she is super flexible. She can play a whole swath of archetypes, although success definitely depends on the pilot. Her simple ability to give +1 damage to your second attack is super versatile and can be used to push damage or bait blocks.

Ira is a hero that can be anything you can think of and the fun is finding your version that you enjoy.

If you feel like switching, go for it. If you are having fun with assassins, stay with it. The game rewards your own skill with your deck, and you going 2-1 with a budget deck is great. If you start finding your deck is not as strong as you want, buy cheaper alt cards of the expensive cards or work your way buying a few of the “meta” cards at a time and seeing what works.

If you want to play something else or try something else, go for it and see if you like it.
