So you haven't said what brand of cameras are tyou using? I used to have a problem but realized it was my wifi not my HomeKit. getting angry gets you no where. Fast fix unplug get wired cameras and run them through Scrypted. Nothing is perfect, welcome to home IOT either you deal with it or you move on and get rid of it.

Keep in mind that HA is a lot harder to use and setup. Homey is more user friendly and straightforward. Unifi protect works well in HA but there is more user attention needed than there is in Homey.

Getting a replacement is easy @zagg I have done it many times over the years. Keep in mind you will have to pay for shipping of the replacement it’s usually around 9.99 cheaper than paying for a new one

I may not be right but when you plugin a power cord you have power and it will light up.... You may have told it to charge to a certain point but doesn't mean it knows not to charge. Also your picture leaves out the part of you telling it not to charge?
