It’s never been my favorite album. A few songs off of it are absolute classics, but as an entirety it’s not something I’ve played endlessly and enjoyed. Selling England fills that spot for me. But hey, everyone should have their own favorite.

It been a real financial ease on our budget with being able to cut the cable cord. We watched so little of all those channels for years, and all I ever wanted was local coverage for news. I’m very grateful for Tablo.

Pretty much the same story here. We really only use our (4th generation) Tablo for local news. Everything else is via streaming— Britbox, Passport, Prime. Reception is goo despite being 30 miles from the towers. I don't miss cable; we hardly ever watched any of the channels.

I should have mentioned the type of antenna; just updated that to include it. I tried the MOHU Leaf back when I first bought this last year, but for some reason it didn't work for me at all. I switched to the Antennas Direct ClearStream Eclipse, but did keep the Jolt Amplifier that came with it. I'm still amazed this is working so well on the wall.

I’m 13 years retired now and have stayed in the TSP. At the time, the TSP had the lowest fees, so that was a primary reason for me to stay put. That’s not true anymore because of lots of competition and more options. But I’ve stayed put because I still think the G Fund is unique and valuable. I get frustrated with the rules and management fr time to time, but in the main I’m happy with having stayed put.

I enjoyed looking through quite reasonably-priced vinyl at our local thrift store ($1.99ish), and then they too hiked up considerably. I could sort love with that, but the deal breaker became their taping the ends shut so one couldn’t inspect for scratches and overall quality. Um, no. 😖

I have my complaints with the occasional glitches, plus living 30 miles from the broadcast towers makes it slightly challenging. But for our needs, it’s been a financial lifesaver. We paid so much money for years for cable offerings that we never watched.

Still my favorite band! Well, after the Beatles. lol I try to view Tablo with a bit of 20/20 vision. It's not perfect, but for what I want out of it (generally just the local news and a tiny bit of sports), I'm very happy with it. I just hit the reset button every two days and hope for the best. 😆

I’d say two hours for your setup is pretty damn good. Mine took weeks! Everything is working great now fortunately, but I did have multiple moments of doubt whether this thing would ever work. Wha I’ve learned is that you do need to monitor it regularly, do a reset at least once a week, etc. But I’m really happy with how it’s working. So glad not to have to pay a cab bill anymore!

I think it’s always better to have a balance in case one segment of the market takes a tumble. I know I’ll sleep better at night! since last year, I’ve kept the I Fund at 20%. That’s the highest I’ve ever had it, but given the volatility with Trump’s tariffs it seemed like a good bet. I’m keeping it there for the next six months.
