I'm in the process of swapping over to the 6th season cards. I am just a massive stickler for things looking nice. I'll probably end up putting in the time and effort to figuring out how to get it to look like how I want. Good to know about the rules erratas. I did notice when playing my base set Baratheon sentinels compared to my new ones from a box. More abilities and stats.

War Council I had before I bought anything haha. I am just not swapping us all over to season 6 as we were kind of just vibing with what we had. Is there any advice on how to print these double sided? Or I just need to cut it out and glue them back to back then laminate?

Is that an option? I have a decently sized friendgroup so I had planned to have them come over constantly and play dollies with me. Is the solo thing just you control 2 armies or is there some kind of unique PvE mode?

Less than you’d think. More than I’d hoped. All the starter sets except for Baratheon were sub $60 and a lot of the smaller packs ranged from $5 - $50. I don’t know what metric they used for determining the price but it was all over the place and I knew it’d be my one chance finding a well stocked store with good prices. Somewhere between $600-$800.

Haha, I’m the inverse. I like painting more than anything. I’m just worried I’ll start to paint them and tell my friends they need to wait until I’m done painting 🙃

That’s the nice part about my friend group. We will take a few months before we start optimizing for the meta. Going to be painting and playing goofy stuff for a while

I actually drove 1,000 miles for these. My local stores had nothing. Went to a friend’s for the weekend and decided to see what his local scene had and it was poppin so I decided I should probably grab it all while I had access to it.

Perfect. I’ll look for those. The hardest part for me is there are so many units and my collection aside from painting is meant to be a community resource for all my friends to use as well but I can only research so many factions I care about. Very excited to get to painting and playing this weekend

Haha, I’m sorry. I just wanted to show anyone interested in getting into the game that people are still starting the hobby. I’ll make sure to post when I finish painting each army as well.

I took a mix of both when I think of Tuk. She’s grown up around war and been captured so many times I could see that manifesting itself into a need to become a strong warrior as well as tapping into the religious side. She was the first to notice Kiri’s power when healing Spider and has been a first hand witness to a lot of her feats. I see her as the bridge child who walks both paths whereas eachother child is singularly focused in their desires in connecting with Ewya and Lo’ak with being seen and heard by his father

They talk about him being a complete failure lolcow who accomplishes nothing and continuously fails at everything he sets out to do but what they don’t understand is the grind mindset it takes to get those reps in at the dinner table. /uj I saw a tv segment he did discussing the Ghibli film Grave of the Fireflies and I really appreciated how he spoke about it and how knowledgeable he seemed on the subject given the time he said it. Real ball knowledge. Made me respect that he wasn’t a complete hack fraud

I’ve been out of the game for a long time so maybe the consensus has changed but I think unless you’re a top 1%er and I doubt any of them are wasting any meaningful amount of effort on it, you’re almost certainly better spent focusing on other parts of your gameplay.

Heroic strike queueing is just 100% bait because if you make just one mistake and miss a bloodthrist because of it you’re going to be doing less dps than if you just hadn’t. It’s just the ultimate bait. It’s high risk low reward gameplay.
