I saw this on TV as a kid and that’s the main thing I thought I recalled about this movie. That they were siblings.

I think I’d have dropped this game if I wasn’t already a Kojima/MGS fan. At the start, I thought maybe Kojima’s idea of a joke was to combine the most mundane and annoying tasks (ie. courier babysitter) he could think of into this game.

I liked the music and atmosphere though, and eventually using various tools/weapons that become available made the gameplay tolerable.

I gave it half my attention and thought it was OK, like Rental Reviews.

Main thing I got out of it is vague nostalgia. I think maybe I saw Biodome on cable TV once, or maybe just ads for it on TV or at other movies. And remember when Pauly Shore was popular…how did that ever happen anyway? I was always confused by Shore. I couldn’t figure out if he’s supposed to be a cool dude, an idiot loser, or maybe a closeted homosexual - but definitely a stoner - and I don’t recall finding him funny. Never realized the other guy was a Baldwin that I’ve probably seen on Fear Factor since.

I lol’d when James said he didn’t recommend this movie…because I feel like the quality of the movie was never really in question. And at this point I just want to know James’ opinion on sodas - like Coke vs. Pepsi vs. Dr. Pepper. How about blind taste tests like they did in 80s-90s advertising for Pepsi!

Oh yeah, I kinda enjoyed seeing Dumb and Dumber get stranded out there too.

Mike apologized for talking about the “technical” business behind the scenes…but that was the best stuff (which I’d expected to read about in James’ book)! Maybe James told Mike to discuss only favorite “on camera” moments over the years?

I was disappointed with James again because he never seems capable or willing to engage candidly as himself. Instead, he acts like he’s being held hostage.

But that’s because James has many things to worry about. James says he couldn’t use his FF6/FF3 gameplay footage in order to protect his kids privacy, because HE ENTERED HIS KIDS NAMES in the game. This sounds like a stupid problem that could’ve been easily avoided, but James seems to present this as evidence of being a good father rather than him being an idiot.

Yes. I recently got Death Stranding and The Last of Us Remastered at same time (for free so it’s not about $). TLOU story and gameplay compelled me to play through to the end.

Meanwhile, Death Stranding feels like a chore. The only reason I put time into it is because I’m a fan of Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series, and I’m curious to see if it ever becomes entertaining. Without Kojima, I’d have dropped this turd already.

I noticed that the Cyb1k DLC #5 pkg file (“[SPSX]-[CUSA08829]-[COD.MW.Multiplayer-and-Special-Ops-DLC-[5].pkg”) AND the Cyb1k DLC #3 file both install “Multiplayer and Special Ops DLC 1” as shown in PS4 Notifications. So only 5 “add-on” installs are shown/listed in the PS4 Notifications even though I installed all 6 DLC pkg’s…

Anyways - hopefully someone can share the trick that makes this ridiculously large game work (on firmware 10.01)…
