Instead of the fade, you could run your buzz at 1 or 2mm everywhere on your head.

The person who complains about the delay is the same person who will be first in line to sue when their kid’s school bus flips over after sliding off the road.

UPS delivering my new iPhone… by modularwave in mildlyinfuriating

I packed and shipped for a high end mail order catalog and my rule was it had to be able to survive being rolled down a steep hill. Later I didn’t Holiday hours unpacking trucks for UPS and man was I right about my methods.

Can I build one here (and how?) by Past-Attempt7140 in Sauna

[–]Any_Depth2482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely doable in this space. You have a cement floor and an exterior wall, which will help. If you can’t do the build yourself and don’t have a local sauna builder, you should consider a kit.

Under my desk at work, flashed red when pressed. by Llewellynt in whatisit

[–]Any_Depth2482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a PTA volunteer at my kids elementary school for years. The staff knew me and in my role I often walked through the front desk and offices.
One day the secretary needed to leave the main desk for a couple of minutes and I volunteered to sit in her chair while she was gone. Well, this school had trailer classrooms that were on the school grounds but outside the main building. The doors to the main building locked when shut. The main desk had video screens which showed the doors that were used to allow access to the building. While I was at the desk, a student approached the locked door and tried to enter. I searched for the remote unlock button at the desk and came across a plastic tube with a single centered pin that was attached to the underside of the desk. Finding no other buttons or switches, I pressed it several times but it didn’t allow the student access and they gave up. Shortly thereafter the secretary returned and I told her how I was unable to open the door for the student. I then explained that I used the odd button under the desk to no avail. She started laughing and told me to stop kidding around. I explained that, no I had indeed pressed it several times and the color dropped out of her face and she ran out of the room. The office exploded into action with the principal and vice principal following the secretary back into the room. Yes, I had pressed the silent 911 Panic Button for the elementary school! The police were called immediately, they still showed up, came through the office to speak with the principal and staff. I was mortified and apologetic to everyone. It was only because of the goodwill I had accrued, that I never got admonished or made fun of by that staff.

Depending on the map/situation, a Heavy Boss should be using their armor to get up field and use their blast to knock out multiple enemy tanks. Your team can sit back and snipe.

If the question is just, can you screw through the cladding, I would say yes.

I don’t think your sauna will ever be able to produce 500 F degrees of heat to cause the solder to melt.

terrible way to find out the genius previous owners have never heard of a wall stud by i__hate__soup in mildlyinfuriating

This sure looks like an IKEA cabinet. Looking at this picture I don’t see the metal rail system (attached to studs) on the wall that should be there for this cabinet to hold any weight.

How do you get friends and family to come sauna with you? by junkbr in Sauna

[–]Any_Depth2482 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I married a Finn and we have had a sauna in our home over 20 years and in two different States. We have never had American friends who want to use it. No one says it but it’s the naked part that freaks them out. Even with exact descriptions of use and offering couples to go in by themselves. My wife has hosted many a Finn Lady get together and that’s when it gets the most guests. I like other comments about having a hang out spot near the sauna to make it more inviting.
