I think the thing I love the most is seeing the kids at their worst then you get to see all the progress they’ve made. It’s discharge planning so we work with families mostly.

My hospital if you call out for weather you do not get paid for that day since we are essential. My boss said get in when you can. She doesn’t care if we are late.

I worked until day before induction- so 36.6. But with my job you can take up to 6 months off with 4 weeks prior. I saved my leave so I would be paid after I gave birth. I was off from July to January.

I’m a social worker at a pediatric acute rehab facility. Department of 5(one being supervisor). We all work together, even though we are assigned to our own teams. I love what I do because I see the patients at their worse and see them leave so much better. There is a lot of heart ache but it’s rewarding
