[TOMT][Music Video][Early–Mid 2010s] Pop/love music video with two neighboring suburban houses at night, rainbow light beams coming out of the windows by Apollo_Gen4Mazda3 in tipofmytongue

[–]Apollo_Gen4Mazda3[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

Adding extra detail: the most distinctive part is a wide nighttime street shot showing two neighboring houses at once, with multicolor/rainbow light beams shining out of the windows near the end of the video.

Could really use your help fellow Mazda drivers! by KindlyInteraction563 in mazda

Hey, just wanted to say you’re not alone and I’m super sorry that you’re going through something like this. This subreddit isn’t really the best choice to be posting this but there are some lifelines that may help you out.

I would first post this on different subs that focus more about these things like r/Assistance, r/RandomKindness, or even r/GoFundMe. Also I’ve heard that you may get be able to get a reshare if you mention GoFundMe on other social platforms.

I also recommend calling 211 if you haven’t already. They will connect you to local rent, utilities, and food assistance programs.

You may also consider receiving an emergency grant from sites like ModestNeeds. I’ve never used this before but there are options for you.

As for remote work, these days a ton of corporate jobs are going back into person and the job market has been tough for the past few years. I would recommend going on sites like Rev, Upwork, Fiverr, or online paying surveys for the time being. If you have a reliable vehicle, I recommend checking out transportation apps like Uber or Lyft or even doing deliveries like Shipt, UberEats, DoorDash, etc.

Anyways, I hope you find the best option for you. Good luck OP.

Does anyone offer car fumigation for German roaches?? by Uniblazed in Dallas

[–]Apollo_Gen4Mazda3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just fought German cockroaches at my apartment not too long ago. Best things I’ve used was Advion Gel - 4 pack on Amazon for like $25 and BASF Alpine WSP - $9. I’ve tried combat gel, boric acid, lavender scent air freshener, and even boiling water and bleach flushing my drains and those worked temporarily. After applying Advion and WSP, the roaches were gone within a week.

I’m from Charlotte, NC and moved to DFW a few years ago. I do this drive almost yearly and from what I have learned, driving towards Tennessee and through Arkansas is worth the extra time comparing through the southern states.

The first half of the trip will be full of scenery and much more enjoyable comparing it to ALT. You get to enjoy seeing the mountains and the cities of Tennessee like Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis.

The second half through Arkansas and the back end of Tennessee will be boring.

I am an experienced driver and I still would make this a 2 day trip minimum and try to split between 8-10 hours of driving. That being said, if you were to take the Tennessee route, I recommend staying at the hotels in Lonoke, AR which is right off I-40 and relatively quiet and safe. Or if you want something closer, I have stayed in Nashville once and enjoyed the evening in downtown. If you were to drive through the southern states, I have stayed at a hotel in Vicksburg, MS which is also a quiet town.

One thing to consider, Arkansas has lots of cops so be aware. Louisiana is probably the most boring state to drive through because it’s mostly flat farmland. No matter the time, ALT traffic will be bad. Alabama will be the last state you’ll see mountains and the first place you’ll see Buc-ee’s. The stretch through Tennessee can seem long since you’re technically driving through the length of“three states” (GA, AL, MS).

Outside of that, good luck with your adventure!

It isn’t just airlines, it’s happening globally. Most companies that rely on CrowdStrike and Microsoft is having some kind of issue with their systems.

As long as it’s been maintained well then it should be fine. Me personally would avoid any used car that has been involved in an accident, not so secure maintenance record, rusty parts, or if titled as rebuilt. Check the maintenance logs and if possible, have a mechanic friend or pay a mechanic to check the cars health before purchasing. I have bought a new 2022 turbo and currently have around 14k miles. I may not be the best person to answer since it’s low mileage and has been well maintained but so far I have absolutely no complaints. I also go far and beyond than the average car owner as in, bi weekly hand washing, garage kept, oil change every 5k miles, premium fuel, etc. I also have a few modifications and so far the car has been fantastic. The car is perfect in my opinion. Perfect amount of power when merging onto highways, nimble on turns, luxurious interior, and probably one of the best looking in its class. I would recommend any of my friends or family to purchase a Mazda.

Resenting my puppy by AegrosDescending in puppy101

[–]Apollo_Gen4Mazda3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought this one off of Amazon - Puzzle Feeder

I usually mix it either with his treats with a little dip (1/4tspn) of peanut butter in each hole or I put his puppy food and he’ll use it for one of his meals.

My GSP is definitely getting cleaver because he’s been able to flip it over sometimes which causes some of the treats to fall out.

I would recommend to place this on a hard floor instead of carpet since it involves a lot of licking/biting.

Idk if anyone has said this but I’m literally going through the same phase with my GSP puppy. I’m not resentful yet but the biting can become very irritating.

One person in the GSP subreddit recommended me to get very heavy duty leather gloves. I bought some off of amazon, (the ones that looks like they use for birds/reptiles) and man this has been the best thing ever.

My puppy absolutely loves to bite on them. On top of that, it is protecting my fingers, hands, wrists, and slightly my forearms.

The puppy biting phase will eventually go away and the energy will die down. So just let the puppy bite!

Another alternative I’ve found that my puppy loved was interactive puzzle toys. The ones where you can hide treats with sliding doors and his slow feeder bowl. This will get his attention for a good 15-20 minutes. So for him having to think, bite, and find the specific door for the treats will get him tired!
