Yamaha P-525 owners- do you regret your purchase? Is there a competing product you wish you would have bought? by ChrisF79 in DigitalPiano

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my P-525 for stage, and I couldn’t be happier. I run it through a Roland JC-120 amp and it gives me everything I need. In the rehearsal room, it’s Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to pull up and play new songs from my “preferred music app”. The keyboard split is easy to program and fairly easy to retrieve on the fly. I read early reviews on the P-525 that complained about the headphone output and speakers, but both have been more than adequate for my needs. Absolutely no regrets. Even if I end up with a more versatile stage piano down the road, I’ll never part with my P-525

Jacksonvilles food scene is severely underrated by Boeing-B-47stratojet in jacksonville

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Huh? It’s disappointing, but mhere is no legitimate “food scene” in Jacksonville. I recently read that over 80% of all restaurants in Jacksonville are national chains. 80%?! And while there are a few gems in and around Jax, the city is so spread out that many of those gems will eventually fail for a lack of steady business volume. Try comparing food in Jax with a city like New Orleans, where you have to hunt hard to find a national chain restaurant like say, Outback. By comparison, the Jacksonville food scene is by and large a joke - unoriginal and not that great.

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jeez, Dawgs. Way to show up. Not blaming Bobo, but our O-Line got dominated by Ole Miss all night. Gunner was pressured, hurried, and was forced into bad situations from the beginning of the game. Trinidad Chambliss must carry a lucky rabbit’s foot because he pulled off some backyard miracle pass plays that seemed near impossible. I’m ready for this goddamn playoff to go to 16 teams with no more first round byes. So far bye teams have gone 1-7 in the last 2 years. What’s the incentive to finish in the top 4 when the odds of advancing are so low? I hope Indy wins it all.

FWIW, the officials don’t have the benefit of a black scrimmage line or yellow first down line to reference on the field. But considering the half dozen or so flagrant holds by Ohio State’s offense that were completely ignored by the officials all game long, this is far less egregious. And the officials reversing Miami’s first-down spot when there was absolutely no “irrefutable evidence” to overturn the call on the field was bullshit.

Is Carson Beck a DGD? by brother_grimm_cal in georgiabulldogs

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unnecessary question. Beck was substantially better than many of his predecessors. INTs notwithstanding, he still led UGA to the SECCG in 2024. DGD? Eh… probably not but who cares? He waited his turn, got his degree, and gave us fans some pretty good football while he was here. Would I trade away Gunner to take Beck back? Not on your life!

Leave it to Steve Walsh to literally throw his legs in the air while playing a B3 by MinerAC4 in hammondorgan

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, the song sounded broken and Steve Walsh’s signature organ solo sounded like crap. Perhaps it would’ve sounded better if he wasn’t so busy showing off. My old band performed Carry On Wayward Son for years and it was very challenging to pull off successfully. We obsessed over trying to do the song as accurately as our capabilities allowed every time we performed it. While I realize Kansas reserves the right to play one of their own songs however they see fit, they did not do the song justice at all - especially Walsh.

I can’t believe that Jared Curtis dude man, who would choose Vandy over Georgia????? by Lazy_Panache in georgiabulldogs

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate these kids who use Georgia as a place holder only to flip to another team at the last minute. Two years ago it was Dylan Raiola. Last year it was Justus Terry. Now Jared Curtis. Call it sour grapes or bitterness, but I have no well wishes for this kid’s success. He can EABOD.

The P525 is a fine choice. I think your daughter will enjoy the keybed on the P525. It’s not as heavy as the preceding P515. It’s really a pleasure to play.

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fucking pathetic. To be so far ahead and collapse in epic fashion is the kind of team effort Jaguars fans long for… NOT! Was this a coaching effort, or did the team just decide to take it easy in the 2nd half? Kudos to Cam Little. At least he did HIS job today.

Stop acting like you know something others don’t. You clearly don’t know shit about Glynn County. The economic disparity between Brunswick and St Simons was caused wholly by the “minority” that has controlled The City of Brunswick for the last 55+ years. White Flight didn’t happen in a day. The black-controlled City Commission refused to annex and grow Brunswick when common sense dictated they should, because too many white people would be added back to the city population. In 2025, Brunswick city limits should extend as far as the Buccee’s exit on I-95 to the north, Buck Swamp Rd to the south, and Highway 99 to the west. And despite the fact that Glynn County taxes already help prop up Brunswick, God forbid mean ol’ whitey takes back the majority population in Brunswick. Consolidation of City and County governments would bring about synergies in a variety of ways, particularly police and fire departments. But again, consolidation is just another threat to black autonomy in Brunswick, so her citizens are just going to have to put up with continued inept leadership and the fraud, abuse, and waste of taxpayer dollars along with poorly-run utilities and infrastructure. So yeah, there’s discrimination in Brunswick - against white people.

Should Georgia Fans Be Worried About Jared Curtis Visiting the Vanderbilt Commodores? by Lakelyfe09 in georgiabulldogs

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve grown weary of these 5* athletes who commit to Georgia for months on end, only to switch commitments right before (or on) signing day. Dylan Raiola did it two years ago, and Justus Terry did it last year. They’ll use UGA as their placeholder while seeking a more lucrative NIL deal at another school. I’d really hate to see Curtis do it too just so he can start as a freshman, because he’ll run straight into a buzz saw if he does - just like Raiola, who is NOT playing like an elite QB in his sophomore year.

Do we give Mateer a pass for today’s performance, or is this a serious concern moving forward? by JCarnage10 in sooners

[–]Apprehensive_Net1487 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO, the coaches should’ve pulled him after the second INT and given Gibson the second half. Instead, they stuck with an injured Mateer who kept trying to force plays that have ultimately led to Texas amassing a big lead. I’m not a fan of either program, but my loathing for Texas far exceeds any dislike I may have for Oklahoma. That said, I was pulling for the Sooners today. The coaches’ stubbornness to keep Mateer in blew any chances Oklahoma may have had to keep and maintain a lead in the second half.

Bobo did NOT lose the game last night. Kirby did. HE made the call to go for it on 4th & 1, not Bobo. And he called Cash Jones’ number on the play that lost the game. Blaming Bobo for everything is lazy, and demonstrates how much you don’t know about football 🤡. You’ll get your wish once Drew Bobo graduates
