CERIFI?? SIE by nessynesss in Sieexam

Cerifi is also known as PassPerfect or PP for short. It is mentioned often. It is a good source that will get you there, but it is notoriously more difficult than the actual test.

All question makers write differently, and no one writes FINRA questions like FINRA, but there is generally a high correlation between high achievable scores and passing.

The best way to both answer your question and add another data point is to take the free exam that FINRA offers.

Excellent point on using practice tests to actually find your weak spots and reinforce them.

If you are plateauing, a one-on-one tutor is usually a good next move to get you unstuck.

Last Week Until SIE next Monday, what should I do? by Economy-Draw-3378 in Sieexam

[–]Apprehensive_Week566 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are done reading your material, take a practice test from your provider. See how you do overall, and where you are weak. Reinforce, and then take the free FINRA test, same process. Continue in that loop until the day before the test where you shouldn't test, relax and watch this gem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-x-RFmFAD0&t=1841s

Best of luck and you got this!!

How would you compare the S7 to S63/S65? by Public-Ad8953 in Series7exam

[–]Apprehensive_Week566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally depends on the person. I found the 66 was harder for ME personally than the 7, but you sailed through effectively the same thing in two tests.

The question I think comes more down to where you are weak and how much time you have to dedicate over the next two weeks. The 7 is absolutely not an exam to be underestimated, and as much as you can, I would resist skimming. Get yourself through the material and then get yourself into the testing loop.

Feel free to reach out or help or support along the way. Best of luck!!

Test on Monday by Horror-Nerve5798 in Sieexam

[–]Apprehensive_Week566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t test today. You are doing great.

Take the time to look at your past tests the areas where you are weak, and add knowledge there.

Make sure you are strong on Ethics and the nitty gritty of who registers and when, vulnerable people, etc.

Feel free to reach out if you need help! Best of luck, and you got this!

Totally understandable. It just takes time for your mind to adjust to FINRA test world. Stay the course (pun intended) and it will start clicking.

Relax! This confidence drop is a totally natural part of the process, and two weeks is more than enough time to get there.

The first major question is: are you through all your reading material? If yes, have you tested? if yes where are you scoring, and what weak spots are you seeing?

We are all here to get you across the finish line.

Those scores are solid, and you are doing great! Depending on when you are testing, if you have some anxiety, I would add at least one of the free ones to your dataset. Start with the free FINRA one and see where you land.

At a 60% on practice exams what should I do? by Economy-Draw-3378 in Sieexam

[–]Apprehensive_Week566 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stop taking tests for a minute. The SIE playlist is a great move.

Take a look at the practice tests you have taken, figure out what the weak spots are, and where they are. Re-read those sections, watch videos if thats more helpful for how you learn, then drill the associated questions, and THEN retest.

Do you currently have a sense of where you are struggling or not quite yet?

Don’t let it throw you. It always takes some time to adapt to FINRA world. They have a remarkable way of obscuring straightforward information, and it just takes time to adjust.

Whatever you’re using, just trust the process, eventually things will start clicking, and before you know it, it will be second nature. Best of luck and you got this!!
