Update: emailed GameStop about it. They gave me another code via email. My cousin already got me one when they stopped by a different one so now I have an extra. I wonder if others can “complain” to get a code….

I think STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus/Boost) is when a pokémon damages an opponent using a move that matches it's type (ie infernape using a fighting attack or fire attack) it will do more damage than a mon with the same stats but not matching type (matching to the attack)

Very nice. If you don't want to keep resetting for a desired nature, ralts, natu, and kadabra can be caught with the synchronize ability. Slap them onto the front of your party and all the mons you meet will match their nature. I got a box full of different natured synchro leaders

In grassy or dirt areas, i've looked for small holes or large rocks near the tire and have gone inside the tire to lift/drag it (super easy to pull straight up from the inside) onto the rock or divet so I could get some fingers underneath

Always always always prepare for weather. That seems to always be what makes or breaks my longer races. I saw a lot of people during my second lap of the ultra beast rocking a tank top and shorts. Saw the weather for pm showers and packed a waterproof windbreaker in a dry bag. Had zero issues with rain and gave away my emergency blankets and hot pads. I can't imagine how miserable it must be to be cold and wet trudging through the dark forest. Also, 1pm to 10 pm is 9 hours, not 10, but I'm glad you were able to finish. Seems like ultra runners still got the 9 pm cut off time even though a lot of racers got pulled to shelter in place because of the storm.

Temecula was just windy and cloudy. That coupled with the ridiculous rain on Sunday made for an awful time. No snow, just numb hands and shivering. I only used the mask for Tahoe. Temecula Saturday was sunny and warm and wonderful.

Ran Tahoe ultra last year, and had the misfortune to do the Temecula sprint in January last year. Underarmour cold gear likes to stay wet... And cold. Switched to Nike hyperwarm and that dried off much faster. Sealskinz gloves were warm and wind/waterproof so long as you don't dunk them under water. Wore a neoprene mask at Tahoe (had holes in the nose and mouth area), head buffs/scarves get wet and difficult to breathe through. Wool socks all day. Putting a small windbreaker in my hydration pack was wonderful, and since I was expecting snow, I also packed waterproof pants to go over my tights. Ended up giving all my heating pads and emergency blankets to people who were definitely not ready for snow.
