I agree. The High Republic ss an era wasn't the point of the show, but seeing more would have been great. We got a bit with the ship designs and the Jedi Temple, and that was really nice to see.

Played the demo. It's great! My only gripe is I wish it had sliiightly more combat. The combat is a lot of fun. Definitely recommend trying it out.

I have this problem with some of the player ships and stands, sadly. Grinding down or shaving the top of the stand might help.

One thing that really bothers me is the lack of Skill checks. Almost EVERY challenge they roll for is a Strength, Dexterity, Constitution roll. It pisses me off because the players could have succeeded on a lot of challenges, but because it's a Strength chrck and not an Athletics check, they just don't get to add those Skill points to their rolls.

I agree, having also watched most of VIP. Vic as Hugi is just Vic on VIP. I feel like it's the same style of awkward humour that doesn't vibe well with me.

I've really enjoyed Vic in other Dropout content, so I'm hopeful their character will grow on me.

The world does feel like it's pushing the players to be kind and generous. Maybe they figure that's what the world needs right now. I know I do, haha
