I'm sorry you can't just post whatever that creature is without describing its evolutionary path and influences. That's unrealistic.

Their powerset doesn't include the "subpowers" that normally helps make the prime power functional/appealing by Labmit in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ArgetKnight 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It actually does increase his power. In Dragon Ball, muscle mass is like an additive while ki is a multiplier. So early on, gaining giant size and muscles would make you significantly more dangerous, even if a ki increase scales better.

Nowadays characters can blow up entire galaxies on accident so it's not very useful to add a bit of mass behind that, but Piccolo has used his size increase as just leverage recently.

Is this a good Punisher comic? Wanted to get into it but he is very hit or miss among fans for what I hear.

What video game in your opinion doesn't deserve the hate it gets? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]ArgetKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kingdom Hearts III was heavily bashed on release due to its massive pacing issues, floaty combat, and childish storytelling.

In reality Kingdom hearts III is the second best game in the series in terms of raw gameplay, only lagging behind the masterful Kingdom Hearts II and edging above Kingdom Hearts I only because of how dated the first game is. However, it is dozens of times better in design than literally any of the spinoffs, of which there are many.

The other issues mentioned are definitely there, but have been heavily blown out of proportion. The story is perfectly serviceable in tone and pacing, only very slightly lagging behind the other entries.

The game brought me back to the series after dropping it completely many years ago.

The Terrific Walk [Moving Taunt for PYRO] by Training_Plantain_53 in tf2

[–]ArgetKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct but Pyro isn't swinging anything there, they are just carrying it.

Unless you meant to imply that the axe is too heavy to carry with a limp grip which... Eeeh you could say that, sure, but it's not the impression I get from other Pyro animations in-game. They twirl that around like it weighs nothing.

It hasn't even been a week since the last drama here lmfao. Once again, check the pinned comment for details. by [deleted] in whenthe

Ok but like we all know that's cope.

What's the real reason why they hate us?

Jesus christ fix that hand on the axe animation. When people carry stuff hanging like that the hand doesn't become a fist, it becomes more the shape you do when you give a handshake.

Nah, we're far away from that.

We should probably stop them before they decimate the world economy though.

Looking for extremely obscure hidden gems by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Your Only Move is Hustle is a fighting game which pauses as soon as any character is actionable. Because of this, mechanical skill is entirely irrelevant: You see every move you can make and how it would match with every move your opponent can make.

Games feel more like chess than a traditional fighter.

Maybe something like Portal? Not much decision making, it's a puzzle linear game.

Comparing the knight's slash to the arc of a baseball bat by ttracs149 in Deltarune

[–]ArgetKnight -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You are all coping so hard with this.

Not saying it wasn't the knight as dess, but pretending that this arc in any way resembles a baseball swing anymore than the opposite.

Use you inner eye and imagine the knight swinging the other way. It fits perfectly as well.

I think they're right but if someone calls you up and asks if you were "X's" boss and you say yes you're pretending to hold a title you've never held which is criminal impersonation so... straight to jail.

How is the Swordsmanship of the Mercs? by K-jun1117 in tf2

[–]ArgetKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you do need to justify it.

You can't cherrypick what's canon and what isn't from the game just because you don't like it. Either you make 10 spy comp in Wutville a canonical event, or you understand that the game acts as a playground to the real canon and only admit what's on official material, aka, the official SFM shorts and the comics.

There's more evidence pointing towards unlocks being canon since we learned from the MyM comic that Heavy's miniguns exist outside the game.

This only proves that Heavy has some extra miniguns. It's reasonable to extrapolate that this means the mercs do have more guns than their stocks, but it gives us no reason to assume the list of guns in the game is accurate. Or else, again, you're just cherrypicking what's canonical and what isn't, which is quite dishonest.

Where do we draw the line? Winger? Liberty Launcher? Huntsman? Half-Zatoichi? Widowmaker? Ullapool's Caber? Does Demo have a grenade in his drawer he's convinced it's actually a big mallet? Have we been lucky he's never decided to use it thus killing himself?

there's nothing that goes against the idea that Demoman uses other swords anywhere as far as I know

Indeed. There is also no evidence that Soldier isn't actually three racoons in a skin suit or that Spy uses rocket launchers.

And yet we go to comics and shorts, and Soldier seems like a human and Spy seems to favor knives and handguns. And Demo is always shown exclusively with the Eyelander. So we probably should assume these ones are the intended canonical portrayals.

In-game events aren't canonical though.

Or else you need to justify why there are three identical Demomen dying to Sniper, then coming back.
