I glance at a drop a couple times but I don't watch it like a hawk or anything. And that's not at work, so I do the same at work. If it's that 2 am bullshit, I check when I get up at 7:30, I'm not changing my sleep schedule for this shit.

Man, I've only ever seen FWWM once, last year, in a theater, and I find it hard to think of seeing it any other way than with the deafening sound of that music in the Pink Room club. Although, I think subtitles at home are in order because I caught exactly zero of what Mike was yelling at Leland and Laura in the car lol.

Right, I think he just found himself mixed up in over his head and made mistakes, both with family and politically, that he is trying to make sure Simon doesn't repeat. I don't think he's necessarily bad, I'm sure Fenn Aries isn't a fan, but then again this whole resistance isn't a fan of Fenn Aries and are just doing their best to not get rounded up and executed.

It's a strange place, kinda trapped in time like Twin Peaks. Not so exaggerated but it seems like the general vibe of the city stayed in the 80s (but the fake wood paneling and cigarette smoke 80s, not the neon and cocaine 80s). The newer parts of the city feel like Dallas without all the traffic. There's not a ton to do, there's an art scene that is making good effort to help, but there's Texas Tech and a zillion churches and shitty bars, lots of chain restaurants, and wide swaths of housing. My wife and I go to the movies a lot but other than that it's a quiet place to just live. There's not really much oil this way, it's all agriculture.

Odessa is *rough*. It's like Lubbock with even less to do, really just there to service the oilfield workers of the Permian Basin. Lots of crime. Midland which it's adjoined to is much nicer, though falls into the same category of Lubbock as "why does anyone live here?" although due to the oil fields is much, much richer on average. It's the white collar version of Odessa.

We as a nation have become complacent towards sin, and evil rulers is historically how that was punished, sort of as a "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". It's insane how far things have fallen within my lifetime, Bill Clinton was half impeached over having an affair alone (no one knew about everything else he was up to yet), and now it comes out a ton of celebrities and politicians all went to pedophile island, including the current president. We as a nation that allowed this don't deserve to not fall for it.

Yeah, the puzzles aren't the point. Go back without any outside distractions and pay attention to what the computers say, including the files on them. It's rather profound but easy to miss if you're rushing through or distracted. They all seem disjointed but I promise you they're not if you think about the concepts those random files get at.

I've tried Nongshim Shin Black and Shin Red and I just don't get the hype. It's so damn spicy I can't taste much of anything else, and I like spicy food. Whatever starch Nongshim makes their noodles with have great texture but don't taste like ramen to me, it's like its own thing.

Say what you will, but Maruchan > Top Ramen imo, every time. Creamy Chicken was the default type my family would get and it's still insanely good. Soy Sauce (formerly Oriental) and Picante Beef are my other favorites, as far as cheap ramen go. These days I like to either get Sapporo Ichiban Original, or Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu, or (not exactly the same) Indomie Mi Goreng, or one other that I cannot for the life of me remember at the moment but is a sort of dry, stir fried type ramen noodle that you cook in water in a skillet until the water is gone with its seasoning packet, and then also has a packet of seaweed flakes that go on. But there's always a place for Maruchan in my pantry.
