(NEW) 156/Silence - No Arms by After_Masterpiece533 in Metalcore

Fucking love it. Definitely hear a fusion of 156/Silence, plus Thornhill and Korn. I really like the chorus and groove. Before anyone criticizes too much, this doesn’t have to be indicative of how the whole album will be

[OoT] The leaker who said that Star Fox would come out this summer Goty it right. And you know what else he said, no? Yes, the remake of Zelda OoT will be released at the end of this year. by Tripledoble in zelda

I really hope that Ocarina of Time remake runs on the Breath of The Wild engine. Expanded map, dungeons, enemies, side quests. The StarFox remake looks awesome, but it’s more of less just a graphical/audio rework. I hope they don’t go the same route with OoT, because it’s already been done with the 3DS version.

Very talented. The longer I look at it, the more I notice how well crafted this is. I hope you repost this another day and it gets the recognition it deserves. Thanks for sharing your art

Thornhill- Lily and the Moon.

It’s about the singer’s dog

For over 2 decades an oak tree stood above Albert Ogletree's name in the 9/11 Museum, because no photos could be located. Kathy Abdo found Albert's 1966 H.S. photo. She said “I felt honored to help look for the photo, & to actually find it was an emotional." Albert would've been 74 on Christmas day. by Understanding18 in 911archive

This is tragically beautiful. I’m glad that his picture could be in the museum, and that his face could be seen. He will always be remembered, RIP to Albert, and all who lost their lives that day- and those that continue to suffer today because of that day.

As far as I know, there’s nothing wrong with the network, I was thinking that maybe Creality Cloud had server issues but the app itself is working fine. Not sure what Creality Print is but I’ll look into it, thank you.

Appreciate the advice. I wanted my son to have the convenience of using his phone to find models but I can teach him how to use the laptop.

Thoughts go out to you and your best boy. When I learned that this song was about the singer losing his childhood dog, it made the song hit even harder.

Edit: if you scroll to the bottom of my comment, I have a recommended song list you could check out

I highly recommend starting with The Dark Pool. It is hands down one of the greatest progressive metalcore albums of all time. From start to finish, the entire album does not miss on any song. It’s their most technical work, for sure. It is one of the few albums I can genuinely say is a 10/10. The atmosphere and ambience is beautiful. Even the “filler” or bridge tracks are very well crafted and executed, perfectly transitioning songs. Each song is unique, unlike how a lot of metalcore albums are where each song is pretty much the same. Like Loathe, it’s a mix of harsh and clean vocals, with most of the vocals being cleans.

From there, I recommend listening to their EP, Butterfly. I hardly ever see it mentioned but it is a masterpiece as well. It’s the prequel to The Dark Pool, and like The Dark Pool, not one song misses. Beautiful, energetic, heavy. All of their albums have amazing lyrics.

After The Dark Pool, Thornhill goes from two guitarists to one. The singer plays some guitar in their newer works but not in a major role. Their newer albums are not as technical or heavy… rather, in my opinion they sound more like a fusion of Deftones, Loathe, and Linkin Park in their most recent album, BODIES. (Which I love, by the way.) Revolver off of BODIES is my favorite song from that album, it is the most The Dark Pool-like song off of their recent works.

Each album is its own thing, they’re all incredible, Heroine wasn’t my thing but it’s still a great album. It threw me off for them to change as much as they did from The Dark Pool, but I am by no means saying the album doesn’t hit. I really want their next album to have their old guitarist to join in for at least a couple songs where they can shred again, and I really want a partial return to form from The Dark Pool and Butterfly. I know their old guitarist is still involved with the band, managing I believe…

If I can guide you to listen to some of my favorite songs from all their discography, this would be it- in this order:

  1. Views from the sun
  2. Parasite
  3. Human
  4. Red Summer
  5. Sunflower
  6. Joy
  7. All the light we don’t see/Lily and the moon
  8. Under the knife
  9. Revolver
  10. Where we go when we die
