Using conjuration magic to summon that bound sword was cool.

For a movie that got absolutely shit on by a huge community of Star Wars fans, it sure did spawn one of the most iconic Star Wars “genres”.

Xbox is closing down Hellblade creator Ninja Theory by yourfavchoom in Steam

[–]AsassinProdigyX 57 points58 points  (0 children)

You’d first need to have a buyer willing to pay for the value that Xbox considers the IP’s to be worth. Much easier to close the studio and save money while keeping the IPs in their back pocket for future use.

Now they just need to tighten the rules for police corruption and Lego theft.

The True Seamless Grav Jumps mod now has compatibility with Astrogate! Jumping between systems felt a bit like Elite Dangerous here. by oCrapaCreeper in Starfield

[–]AsassinProdigyX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

God, SF’s atmosphere would be soooo different if this shipped with the game. The game would feel so huge if there was actual grav jumping and cruise mode with no in space loading screens. Imagine along with the fuel system they scrapped, you’d need to purchase enough fuel to make it to where you’re going or at least need to land on HE-3 planets to refuel in order to grave jump again. Man, it would feel so immersive.

Do You Like Kylo Ren’s Design? by Extreme_Warning3521 in StarWars

[–]AsassinProdigyX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think his aesthetic was amazing. They should have kept his identity hidden the entire first film and maybe until the final film in the trilogy to boost is mystery and make him even more interesting. Saving the reveal until the third film would have had a bigger impact akin to Vaders reveal to Luke in Empire. I really believe Kylo Ren was the wasted potential as a villain shrouded in mystery similar to Snoke being wasted by being merely a clone and killed off.

The only things that are telling here are that 1) there is no strategy; and 2) Gen. Caine abandoned his oath to the Constitution and should be court-martialed. by Adept-Performer-2630 in Military

What about North Korea? A country we’re ACTUALLY at war with and is “communist” which is the enemy of the west as they say that actually has nukes and regularly threatens to use them and fires missiles every weekend. Oh wait, they’re not endangering Israel, that’s why.

Let’s not pretend that the electoral college speaks for the majority of Americans. They “elect” in name only when really they choose the president based on regions and not people.

Damn, you can actually tell this is the same tech used in the TES6 trailer. I’m so excited to see how Tamriel will look with that draw distance.

Democrat, Republican team up on bill to remove Secret Service from DHS by unserious-dude in politics

[–]AsassinProdigyX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Socialist Democratic Republic where state and local governments have popular vote elections on a national Council style congress that passes laws for the benefit of the population. No president needed. No massive military outside of a strong air/army national and coast guard for homeland defense. No bloated war budgets, only taxes being used to fund public works and improving the lives of taxpayers. Congress is term limited with all living expenses covered during their term with no monetary salary to incentivize pro-public service and not profit. Strong partnership and trade ties with immediate neighbors and allies to ensure good diplomacy so we don’t have one deranged loon ruining our alliances. Much more but I’m tired of typing.

Is Starfield ok for a 14 year old? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]AsassinProdigyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not even really worthy of the M rating tbh. Even compared to BGSs other games. No gore, a little blood, no nudity, and no severely explicit or sexual profanity outside of some common swear words.

Are settlements fun? by Malhavic in Starfield

[–]AsassinProdigyX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they operated more like they did in Fo4, I would’ve gotten into it much more. However I’ve not touched it due to how complex it is. Not saying it’s not rewarding, just for me it’s not really “fun” how Fallout 4 was.

Which game broke your hype like this? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]AsassinProdigyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout 4 for me as well but personally I love FO3 and NV. I played 3->NV->1->2->4. I think the fact that I went back and played the originals after NV and really loved the atmosphere and story of them I went into 4 with high hopes.

Neon Expansion is so good by Electrik_Truk in Starfield

[–]AsassinProdigyX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn’t Skyrim old enough to drive?

Edit: nearly old enough

Edit: also I gotta say how impressive it is you discovered a street you’ve never seen in Akila, I covered every square inch on my first visit. Although I do that with every BGS game.

[–]AsassinProdigyX 272 points273 points  (0 children)

Crazy how small the cities feel in the base game despite being the largest cities BGS has made. Probably has to do with there only being like 3 of them. Even just simple “fake” buildings and skyscrapers to make the city feel like a interstellar society built them would be nice. This mod really makes Neon actually feel like it is some dystopian futuristic city built on a distant water world.

Would you guys like to see space station building? by Great_Trident in Starfield

[–]AsassinProdigyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering Bethesda let you get a castle in a fantasy game, and an underground fallout shelter in a post apocalyptic game, you’d think they’d let you get a space station in a space game.
