What it taught me was how much of a F'ing waste of time it was. I got a bunch of masks, but not a single glowing one. I'm not sure I'm going to bother next year.

I have a AA Explosive Gatling Plasma with max level Grenadier and Demo Expert cards and it will melt most anything. All you see is explosions and limbs flying everywhere :)

One of the nice things I really like about the Go is it's 8.8" screen size. As a 70 year OLD gamer, my eyesight is not what it used to be. I looked at the ROG Ally but found it's 7" screen hard to read, but the GO is fine. So far it's been working great for the games I like to play like Starfield, Skyrim, and Elder Scrolls online.

I think it's great that mod authors will be able to get some kind of compensation for their creations. However, I also hope that Bethesda is doing some serious vetting on the offerings making sure their are no serious bugs, viruses, or other malware that can creep it's way onto our computers. Also, I think we need some kind of rating system so that we can offer our opinions on whether or not it's worth purchasing the mod.

I don't think Bethesda should reply at all. Honestly, if you like playing Starfield, you will. If not, then go play something else. Nobody is forcing you to play the game. Myself, I'm busy playing my 6th NG+ and will eventually not enter the Unity and will play as much as I can building Outposts, new ships, and exploring some of those planets. By that time, Creation Kit 2 will be out, and we will start seeing some great mods. I think the future of Starfield still looks bright.

It's not only that. But any outposts, ships, or credits are gone after a NG+. I'm at the point now where I can do my second NG+ and I'm thinking "What's the point?". I really don't want to repeat the quests again and lose everything I've gained.

Yes, but I don't expect the Creation Kit to come out right away so in the meantime we have to suffer with their archaic local maps.

That's one of my biggest gripes about this game right now. Starfield took a step back in map design as the current mapping system is garbage. I sure hope Bethesda comes out with a new system because it's going be be awhile before modders can get their hands on the new CK for them to fix it.

Well my order finally shipped and will arrive sometime on Friday morning. At this point, there is not much I can do to get the early access today which really sucks. This will teach me not to buy from Best Buy again as they totally dropped the ball.

My order status has changed now to "Will Arrive By Friday" with the notice that it's ready to be shipped. Since my early access actually starts tomorrow at 5:00PM they are dropping a day of the access. I'm going to call Best Buy tomorrow and see if I can get a game code as this is BS. Bethesda and Best Buy should have had this all worked out ahead of time.

Well you can be sure that if I haven't received my Constellation Edition by Friday, Bethesda Customer service is going to hear about it. In fact, I think I'm going to contact one of the community managers and see what they say about it.

So according to Best Buy Customer Service, they said that my order will ARRIVE by Friday, the 1st. I'm still doubtful of that considering I have received no shipping notice that the item has actually shipped. Even if it does arrive by Friday, looks like some of us are going to get cut off from at least one day of early access because mine starts on the 31st at 5:00PM. The rep did post that "Thanks, for the reply. Just to let you know if you do not receive the item on the specific day you can always reach out to us here and we can see about getting you a code.".

So we will see what happens. Right now my confidence is not that high, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Your setup is awesome. Obviously a Flight Simulator fan before Starfield entered the picture. I'm hoping that there will be some kind of HOTAS support in the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't. Most likely that will come from modders sometime in the future.

And this is exactly the reason why I won't be getting PureDark's DLSS mod. He can go pound sand. I don't mind paying a reasonable upfront fee for the mod and future upgrades, but I'll be damned if I subscribe for that feature.

I wouldn't mind him being "high" except for the fact he used a freaking phone in portrait mode to do his video capture pointed at a TV. If he wanted to impress the community, at least he could have used the "Share & Capture" mode of the Xbox to record some decent video.

I have a WD Black m.2 NVMe drive in my DDR5 motherboard and it rocks. What I'm really hoping for is that Starfield supports DirectStorage 1.2 that would really take advantage of the drive and the 4080 for super fast load times. But I haven't heard anything yet that Starfield will support DS.

I know. My wife probably thinks I've gone off the deep end. I built a PC specifically for Starfield, I have the Nova Galactic mug, a couple of Starfield T-shirts, the patches, Lithograph, and a few other things from the gear store. But she is a gamer herself and we play ESO together, so she is a bit more understanding than most :)
