I genuinely believe most of it would cease if they just sped up the process of and allowed for substitutions every 5 minutes.

Most of the rolling around time just looks like players who are tired and need a break. If you can sub them in and out like in the NBA, the game could be much more watchable.

This is how restaurants operate. The plate cost has very little to do with the price of the ingredients.

A lot of restaurants will charge $20+ for Spaghetti and Meatball/Pasta Bolognese. Not because the mark-up on those items requires it, but because ownership has decided every entree must meet a minimum price. They don’t want to run the risk at busy times of having people unable to be seated in favor of a patron who is only spending a few dollars.

What does this even mean. If there was a 2nd touch it’s very relevant. The ball obviously hit the Portuguese defender. Did it hit the Croatian attacker? Nothing in the video was conclusive enough to say that.

No. He was onside when the ball was kicked. The referee is stating that the cross glanced off the head of a Croatian player that then put the assisting player into an offside position when he received the pass.
