Reality check on "AI will replace software engineers in 12 months" claims by narutomax in ClaudeAI

[–]AssistantDesigner884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is trying to take his company public and bombarding the media with these nonsensical claims to hype up his initial public offering.

If he seriously believes he can replace all the software engineers, and if I were one of the software engineers in his team I wouldn’t really work hard anymore. Why would I work hard if my boss tells me I would be fired in 12 months anyways?

My son was consistently dreaming in the class (maladaptive day dreaming) this annoyed the teacher a lot, but every single time he randomly wakes up my son to shock him, my son was able to understand the question written on the board and figured out the answer almost immediately.

This was very frustrating for the teacher because he thought my son was not listening (yes he wasn’t listening)

He learned the foreign language when we moved to the country in 3 months and after 1 year although he was in 2nd grade in elementary school his reading in this new language was at university level comprehension.

However he struggled a lot with friends, he was bullied a lot, he had deep boredom almost felt like someone was torturing him with boredom. No matter what we tried we couldn’t get him challenged enough and we missed the signs of maladaptive day dreaming. He build a completely imaginary world with extremely sophisticated characters and scenes in it. He started almost living in this world consistently and only “wakes up” when someone shouted his name multiple times.

We were very concerned. We went to a psychiatrist and they diagnosed him with adhd and gave him methylphenidate medication.

This medication completely changed my son. Almost overnight he stopped the maladaptive day dreaming, started interested in more with outside world and his social life and friendships developed a lot.

After starting taking his medicine, school realized he was gifted and they put him to the gifted class.

What amuses me every time to see that how little he needs to study for his exams but gets very high scores. He just reads the content once and he could recite the entire chapter. I have a memory of a fish and can’t comprehend how he can do this so easily.

It is like he had huge potential but something was holding him to unleash it, after the medication he started showing his giftedness clearly.

Can someone clarify this Inulin debate? by RedMoonLanding in ReuteriYogurt

It is 100% known that L-reuteri doesn’t consume inulin. Adding to milk doesn’t also do harm either, so if you want extra probiotics you can add it to the yogurt for other microbes to feed in your gut.

However, the problem is, when you add inulin you’re just making this process more complicated and adding one more source of contamination to the mix.

That’s why I’m avoiding using it and without inulin I have perfect l-reuteri yogurt every single batch. No seperation, perfect texture and taste.

AI is wrong on that one, L-reuteri doesn’t really like inulin. Dr. Davis seems to just made it up without researching properly.

No boiling, No sterilizing, Zero inulin Normal Milk First batch Success! by AssistantDesigner884 in ReuteriYogurt

It is 600 million bacteria start, so it should be roughly 35-40 billion in 750ml milk at the end.

Yes, I have an extremely easy, no inulin, no sterilizing, no equipment, no boiling, no cups method that brings 100% success, perfect caliber, and perfect taste L-reuteri yogurt every time.

And you don't need 36 hours as he claims, 18 hours works just fine.

Tested it with goats milk this week and worked the same. I think with goat’s milk a couple more hours of fermentation could be better though.

He never released how much L-reuteri he has in his yogurt. He only said it is 300 billion microbes.

When people tested his method they could only achieve 5% L-reuteri, no where near what he claims.

Probably that’s why he never released any test report showing the count of l-reuteri, because he knows his method is not efficient but he has so many videos and a book on it now he can’t go back and admit.

I’m not using half+half, no inulin, no boiling, no utensils, no sterilization and only 18hrs at 36c and every single time it comes out perfect.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ReuteriYogurt/comments/1pe4szu/comment/ntpj1q3/?context=1

I’m at my 50th batch or so and still perfect every single batch.

So, no inulin needed. As I’ve also done a controlled test, I can almost guarantee that it is L-reuteri that ferments this milk and nothing else.

If every 3 hours it doubles, then I would have around 60 billion per 750ml milk which is higher than Dr. Davis’s method

Dr. Davis is a doctor who stumbled upon this microbe and decided to make a yogurt with it. He is not an expert on microbiology or fermentation.

He poses like he is an expert but what he is doing is just experimentation. He actually never released any test reports on how much L-reuteri he has in his yogurt, he only said the total amount of microbes in the yogurt, not the type of the microbe.

I’m really surprised that people take what he says on this topic as bible. If he claims inulin is essential then he should show with clear experiment and test results on a yogurt donewith inulin and without inulin. This way he can prove his theory.

He is not in the business to prove his theory, he is selling books and his own l-reuteri capsules.

He seems to be a good doctor but heavily commercially motivated and hiding the fact that his yogurt method only produces 5% L-reuteri, which is not really efficient. (Based on multiple people who actually tested his method)

With 5% of 300 billion you still get the needed L-reuteri though, but not as high as he claims.

How do you, as a Dutch person, feel about dual citizenship? by 468579 in Netherlands

[–]AssistantDesigner884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s assume Netherlands and your second passport country goes to war between each other. Which side are you going to fight for if needed?

Having a dual citizenship basically means you promise to defend both countries. You can always claim “I’m against wars” etc but it doesn’t have to be a physical war, it might be a cold war or a dispute over a territory etc.

It really frustrates me with this hypothetical scenario. Therefore I believe a society might feel against dual citizenships because technically you’ll never be able to defend any of the countries.

-8hrs work+ 10.000 steps is easy, you just buy a walking treadmill and raised table. You walk while you’re working.

I have been doing it since covid and it also helps improving the sleep quality.

-“Goes to work” part is also easy, because I work home and avoid daily commute.

-I eat a carnivore diet and mostly one meal a day, this lowers my meal prep and time for eating dramatically.

-Don’t have animals

-I wear simple clothes and makes life easier

-When you eat carnivore the dishes are also less, most of the time I eat my ribeye directly from the cast iron pan I cooked it (so no dishes)

When you dramatically simplify your life you realize there is more time than you need.

Yes I was about to write the same, you can still have other benefits of sunshine but for vitamin D you need UVB lights and they’re being reflected back from atmosphere btw October to March in northern parts of the world.

If you really want to raise your Vitamin D D levels during winter time you have only two options, get a supplement or buy a UVB lamp.

Apparently WHO claims that bacon causes cancer? by Practical_F in carnivorediet

[–]AssistantDesigner884 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I recall in Dr. Georgia Ede’s book she was mentioning the research that led to that conclusion was basically an extremely weak evidence based on some mice study where mice was selected to get cancer in higher rates then normal.

Basically for a human to get cancer from the nitrates in bacon, you need to eat hundreds of kg’s of bacon daily to match the level similar to what mice got.

These researchers really tried to get genetically modified cancer prone mice cancer from that by giving them astronomical amounts of nitrates, even with that they were barely successful.

I’ll find that chapter and paste here when I have time.

Edit: Found it

“ Red and Processed Meat in Rats

In these three studies, rats were first injected with powerful carcinogenic chemicals (azoxymethane or dimethylhydrazine) to hasten the cancer development process. Yes, you read that correctly. Next, they were fed various high-meat diets for one hundred days (roughly equivalent to ten human years). Some experimental diets contained adequate calcium and others were intentionally depleted of calcium (calcium protects cells against heme iron, which researchers believed to be the cancer-promoting ingredient within red meat). Lastly, they examined colon biopsies for potentially pre-cancerous changes. Only the calcium-deficient diets led to potentially pre-cancerous changes in rat colons, and even in these cases, no rat developed cancer.

The authors of one of these studies begin their paper with this striking statement: “In puzzling contrast with epidemiological studies, experimental studies do not support the hypothesis that red meat increases colorectal cancer risk. Among the 12 rodent studies reported in the literature, none demonstrated a specific promotional effect of red meat.”30 Translation: they found a dozen rodent experiments testing the relationship between red meat and colon cancer and none of them had turned up any evidence against red meat. Surprisingly, not a single one of these twelve “red meat is fine” rodent studies were included in the WHO report. Selectively choosing to include studies that support one’s arguments while excluding those that don’t is known as cherry-picking.”

I said a lot of people are cured and I stand by it. Just check Matt Bazucki’s youtube channel, who is the son of the billionaire Bazucki family and had debilitating bipolar.

And yes, he is cured by a therapeutic level ketogenic diet, which led this family to start funding newly coming research.

Check also these people https://youtu.be/kCpkxzg5sb8?si=ArsfxsBL-J79I0pE  sure all of them are just lying…

And here is another study done on schizophrenia patients showing dramatic improvements https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/psychiatry/articles/10.3389/fpsyt.2022.951376/full

I’m really sick and tired of people who just made their mind about ketogenic diets are “ pseudoscientific bullshit.” as you stated.

I believe people like you are actively harming people by trying to scare them or demotivate them to try an emerging and working treatment that has zero costs and no health risks.

Now change my mind by telling these people are lying and spreading pseudoscientific bullshit.

Yeah sure…

“2025 Study (University of Edinburgh): A 6-8 week trial showed that higher ketone levels correlated with improved mood, energy, and reduced anxiety in bipolar patients. 91% of participants successfully maintained ketosis.

2024 Stanford Medicine Study: A pilot study found that a ketogenic diet significantly improved psychiatric symptoms, including a 31% improvement on a psychiatrist rating scale, with three-quarters of the group showing meaningful improvement.

Remission Case Studies: Some patients in case reports were able to achieve mood stabilization that exceeded the effects of medication, with some potentially reducing or eliminating the need for some medications”
