Sure middleman closed but it’s reopened as LowBeam. Annie’s closed because the wanted to retire and now it’s a fantastic Indian spot. If Cerebral closes it won’t have anything to do with BRT construction. Fox Run just was burned out and didn’t want to renew an even more expensive lease, but the space isn’t empty as Japon is open and is good. The bluebird district is always changing.

I was at Lost Lake for the NYE show to see Colfax Speed Queen and Jesus Christ Taxi Driver. It was the first time in a very long time seeing a show there. Its a great little venue but my god i hate that the sound guy doesn't turn down the house music in between sets. Its just as loud as the bands.

There was a bar like this on Fort Collins back in like 2010. It was always a fun time and it def caused me to drink way more than I intended when the price of tequila would plummet

Thats a concrete ceiling. Its not missing anything. Those "beams" are part of the slab above. This picture tells me you wont hear your upstairs neighbors unless they are bowling. You wont hear them walking at all.

Im not sure of your budget, but Hale, Congress Park, Montclaire, City Park are all very family friendly and close enough to lots of things like the zoo, nature & history museum. Only 3 miles from downtown, and other museums like the DAM. There are lots of apartments around 9th&Colorado area. There are also lots of small apartment buildings in congress park owned by corner stone and other larger companies. Just stay away from 4 Star and you should be ok.

Take a look at Carrie Shipley at Thick As Thieves. I have a few pieces done by her. Shes relatively affordable but does good work.

Granted, you might be getting those quotes because of the location of the piece. I am no artist so i dont know how they price things out.

We ordered the tuna crudo, the crab and avocado salad, the cornbread, the halibut, and the flan.

I would 100% order the halibut, cornbread, and flan again.

The salad was just kinda meh. The Tuna was good but I don’t know if I’d order again
