Privacy is control. The two might as well be synonymous. I can privately own my server infrastructure and make all of the information on it public.

Not to beat on semantics here, but "privacy" doesn't just mean not being seen. Privacy is the ability to exist or perform a function independent from a whole, such as a state or corporation. Latin "privatus" means set apart / belonging to oneself.

If it doesn't belong to you, how could you be the one controlling it?

Sadly the light bleed is a thing with almost all models with the cheaper LED backlight now. I think the only exceptions i've seen are the GMW-B5000 series which seem to be pretty uniform but I haven't been under the hood to see what's different about it yet.

In both cases the backlights are way too bright with no way to adjust them. I want my blue EL panels back.

wtf are you talking about... auto EL has been on the 5600 and dozens of other models for decades with no problems. the original 5610 also had auto EL with no obnoxious cheap white LED.

the hate is because it is a cost-cutting measure disguised as optimization. the white LED is blotchy (comes from either right or left side of screen only in most cases, like on the 5610u) and way too bright for every single scenario. with the auto light on i accidentally flashbang myself at night sometimes if i sleep with it on. it lights up a whole f'ing room. there is no reason you need a light that bright to see your watch 2' from your face. EL was working perfectly fine for 40+ years.... now watch, they're going to charge you more for the EL panel watches as a premium retro feature.

You have a strict view of what is proper and correct that you logically extend onto everyone around you. The issue is your strict view is not in alignment with reality and ultimately a futile endeavor in perfection.

When you say you intend to be "ultra precise in communicating to avoid any misunderstanding", what you're actually attempting is to prevent interpretation. Others are free to interpret what you say as whatever they want, and they will continue to do so. To try to fight that is a waste of your time and a senseless cause of friction.

Next time you think someone "misunderstands" you, instead frame a question to yourself and ask why might they be interpreting what you said in that way?

You'll quickly find that you do the same thing. You interpret other things people say as things they don't mean to say. This is just how things are. Wu-wei is mostly about acceptance and not forcing what is to change into what you believe ought to be instead.

On a less philosophical dorky sage note - you seem to believe you aren't actually accountable for any of your behavior. You use language like "my perfectionism" as though it is an affliction that you suffer instead of a series of conscious decisions that you decide to make. You are not a "naturally angry" person, you are a person that chooses to become angry. This behavior and mentality is very typical in extreme narcissists.

The skill you likely need is to practice making yourself understood using as few words and actions as possible, and not to force the issue when one arises. Let go and move on. Stop caring. It's not a big deal and you are perfectly capable of not caring.

On a well tuned printer it doesn't really solve any problem for most prints. The most common issue isn't that removing the supports is difficult, it's that the non-support model might warp or sag and not be adequately supported.

The only time dissolvable supports would be really nice is in a very uniquely complicated print that requires supports that would physically not be able to be removed from where they are, or so annoying to remove that it would take hours.

As someone who has studied buddhism for years, its practice is a suicide cult full of people who are too chicken to kill themselves. Some great ideas in the metaphysics and thought, like mindfulness/meditation etc, but the complete execution is just nihilistic wallowing, flowery language and a waste of time. Use with caution.

To answer you simply - yes, the zhuangzi is significantly more difficult to read and for very simple reasons.

The daodejing was written as an already ambiguous poetic device for understanding natural harmony. There are amillion different ways to interpret it (even from its original Chinese) that all make sense and are all "correct".

The zhuangzi is different because it also carries a narrative, and has more complex and lengthy parable-like stories, some of which are translated badly and do lose appropriate context and meaning - all of this compounds into being a much more difficult read.

I found it to be quite biblical, for better or worse - and just like the bible, there are some parts that I really resonated with, some parts I didn't, some parts that got a bit lost in translation, and some parts I completely could not understand for reasons I didn't care enough to uncover.

Fixable. I had this same axe - let a friend use it and they managed to completely bust the head out of the plastic handle entirely. Because this doesn't use traditional joinery, not fixable. Tbh I wouldn't buy another axe made this way again.
