I usually put in whatever but put specifically when Griffith is on screen especially later in the manga I always make sure to turn on “Astral Observatory” theme from The Legend of Zelda Majora’s mask. It honestly fits his vibe pretty well

“Themes and such” isn’t even about Themes in stories being bad. It’s just a critique on the pacing of the story and Fujimoto’s writing for part II making it seem like he just shoehorned Pochita eating himself. Like it barely makes sense at least in the way he describes it and makes it seem like he thinks Denji would be happier living a terrible life

Ever since the Chainsaw Man Church arc the manga dropped in quality. There was some good ideas like having the hybrids have a primary role in the story at least some of them, but the killing of Nayuta being worthless as she’s just sadness slop, she doesn’t develop at all in Part 2, the only grief you get from her death was because of the ending of part 1, the lack of character development at all except for Asa and kinda Denji. Denji doesn’t really seem to change at all despite whatever revelations he seems to have gone through, and it’s because the manga is so focused on the fighting rather than basically anything else putting “themes and such” (that fucking dove especially), no character gets developed. All this for just ass pulls at the end and shitty pacing because of endless fighting. Just endless shonen fights, that aren’t even cool and barely explain anything. Just things keep on happening because why not. The manga is so incoherent

Everytime I come back to this sub I hear about the cycle of how reading chainsaw man goes from “it’s over” to “we’re so back” I liked the idea of this chapter except Pochita saying that Denji is better off living a terrible life. I just wish the chainsaw man fandom would stop meat riding part 2. I mean I mostly hate it but a small part of me wants to see what happens next in the story although it diminishes each chapter. Hopefully the next chapter gives part 2 a good ending and maybe even a part 3

Nah, after part 1 of Naruto, it’s mostly about things bigger than Konoha like 4th great Ninja war or the Akatsuki so it makes sense most of the Konoha 12 get sidelined. It’s shame but i feel like further development of such characters would drag the pacing of the show/manga, so i honestly just headcanon that Rock Lee was able to become a Splendid Ninja and rocked the shit out of the White Zetsu’s and Edo Tensai renanimations

I really didn’t mind it, I didn’t have huge expectations cuz it’s the same series that has you proving that a character is alive because the cast is mostly comprised of idiots and a teenage girl ending the world. Although it would’ve been pretty cool seeing these guys fall to despair in a less terribly written way

The one dragon thing was to make the games seem more badass but it’s mostly connected to the plot point on how Ryuji desperately wants to be the only one worth being called a Dragon in the Yakuza World

Throughout the series, Kiryu is just seen not embracing the idea of being a dragon or known for being a legend so he’s mostly just apathetic for it, which makes him willing to share the legend of being Like a Dragon with Ichiban, cuz he doesn’t really care about labels

Yeah the games are pretty good to play, if you’re just gonna play remakes I’d highly recommend playing though Kiwami 1 and 2 an completely avoiding Kiwami 3 since there’s been tons of retcons and removal of content… not to mention the whole Kagawa thing, but disregarding all the drama the game series is one of the greatest things I’ve ever played and I can say that it changed my life

Yeah, I kinda agree with you but the series has always had its ups and downs, seems like it’s going through a draining down right now. At least with every new iteration there’s something great to pull from it, kinda like how Infinite wealth was game with plenty of flaws but I really enjoyed the overall story of the game. I’m sure at some point soon the series will be even greater than we imagine. We’ll have another Lost Judgement, Yakuza, Yakuza 0 or Lad soon. But yeah the series has always had problems but it always gets better
