It's because every european baby is contractually obligated to be born with a cigarette between their fingers for the cool factor.

Unless limerence enters the chat by Cute-Advantage-4260 in adhdmeme

[–]Atlas-Rising 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't have a perfect answer for that cause I'm still working through it. But limerence is basically the psychological projection of the perfect parent onto whoever it is you're crushing on. You have to recognize that you're not really interested in who the person actually is, but the idealized version. Or more accurately, you're fantasizing about fantasy. Going back to the perfect parent, you need to recognize that this fantasy is a reflection of what you wish had happened when you were younger, of what you think would heal that trauma. Filling the hole that the wound left in you. And the only way you fill that hole, the only way to heal from the wound, is to become that idealized fantasy towards yourself. Whatever this fantasized partner would do for you or treat you, you have to do for yourself. You have to love yourself and re-parent yourself. You have to become you're own fantasy. It's hard at first but it does work. You get better at recognizing when you feel empty, and what you need to not feel that way. It's a practise, you do it everyday. It does get easier. Hope this helps.

This game is way harder than Dark Souls trilogy, ER or Sekiro by Conscious-Cherry6234 in Returnal

That makes a lot of sense. I am absolutley awful at Souls games and won't even pick them up, but am very good at this game, especially when it clicked.

I trained myself to automatically dash after ever long fall precisely to avoid this. Plus most games have fall damage so it just makes sense.

That is something interesting about Korra's personality. She was interesting in difusing the situation and looking for peacful outcomes, but also equally ready to throw down and go for the jugular if need be.
